DAK - 12-1-2005 at 08:07 PM

I wish I could Moron.
Cause I am almost out of beer right now.

MyOwnWay - 12-1-2005 at 08:29 PM

Black and Tan is their best in my opinion. I tend to like darker beers. Have someone ship it to you. When I flew mid west I hid a case of beers individually thru out the suitcase. I only had three beers mis hap, those are good odds for flying.

BDx13 - 12-1-2005 at 10:49 PM

the black and tan is good, but the lager is seriously one of my favorite beers. one of the few that i actually find thurst quenching. 'It tastes so good when it touches your lips!' and having visited the site, dak, i assume you now know that Yuengling is the oldest brewery in america. AND they have a very manly logo...

Yuengling's distribution has been expanding over the past few years, so who knows, maybe they'll make it down there soon. You should contact them! Texas needs some Yuengling!

defstarsteve - 12-2-2005 at 12:24 AM

If I'm not mistake it is credited as being the oldest brewed beer still in production in the u.s.
in texas terms

pbr=lonestar
Yuengling=shiner

JawnDiablo - 12-2-2005 at 12:48 AM

im tellin ya though
the lord chesterfeild ale goes down like candy
a super bowl favorite
just make sure you take off the next day

BDx13 - 12-2-2005 at 01:03 AM

i've never had the lord chesterfeild, but one of the things i like about the lager is that is doesn't give ma any problems the next day.

This is how I feel lately. I rarely go out to bars anymore because of that... plus too many people around me pisses me off.

Actually, last night the Mrs. and I went to be around 10:30, and as we settled down I said "people are just heading out to the bars at this hour". Needless to say we felt like two old farts, but we're old farts with thicker wallets I guess.

crazyfists28 - 12-3-2005 at 05:28 PM

unless you're going to try and get girls or you have a small quiet bar where its older people, there really isnt any reason to go out for beers. too many people, high prices, i'll stay in any night and watch tv with a 12 pack by my side, but thats also cuz nobody wants to hang out with me...

JawnDiablo - 12-3-2005 at 08:06 PM

i go to a local irish bar with other drunken irish hooligans (actually from ireland in this part of town) the beer is cheap, the jameson flows and the food aint bad...im tryin to stay outa bars for a while. i need my cash for other financial endeavors
