The image, allegedly taped by Winfrey, and transmitted to Chappelle's house under the direction of Robert L. Johnson who called in some favors with
Chappelle's local affiliate station manager, terrified Chappelle.

Yup, and they showed clips of season 3 on comedy central's "Last laugh 05"
I believe the new season starts January 13th.

they probably just did this to get people to start talking about the show again since the new season is scheduled to start airing January 13.
