Walk the Line Soundtrack

Alright, so I'm sure fans of Cash are skeptical of this being that it is recordings done by the actors in the film. I was skeptical myself and had planned on sampling it in the New Year to see if it was worth picking up. Well...........a relative knows me too well and insisted I open their gift tonight. I bet you can't guess what I got IT RULES!!!!!!!!!! It is so damn good, it is not Cash, nor will anyone ever be able to do what he did behind a MIC and G-fiddle, but it is awesome. They all do such a good job with their own renditions of the songs, and it's got tunes by the dude who played Jerry Lee and Elvis as well as a KICKASS song by Shooter Jennings. For anyone who enjoyed the movie and is open to it, I highly reccomend this one, it will be played well into the New Year for me. Also, Sick of it all and the Dropkicks are touring this upcoming year and they are coming to VA with the Horrorpops , who are not my favorite but maybe live is real good?
