Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

HARDCORE UNION formed last night... check this out EVERYONE!!!!!

HARDCORE UNION - 1-3-2006 at 04:32 AM

So, I decided it's about time the entire worldwide hardcore scene had ONE place where bands and labels of all kinds can meet, find tour support, find distribution, and sell their crap. Right now we're just setting everything up through myspace since it's easy, free, and most everyone already has their own myspace page running. Visit: www.myspace.com/HARDCOREUNION to see what I'm talking about. Right now we're only adding actual LABELS as friends so we can expedite the whole webstore process that will be essential in spreading the word and making small labels' releases more readily accessible.

We've also already started up the first local chapter in Los Angeles to better serve those in that local area. There will of course be hundreds more local chapters established over time in any major area. You can view that chapter local 1 here: www.myspace.com/HARDCOREUNIONLA

If you read everything we've posted and still have any questions, the best method to inquire would be through myspace, or email me here: HARDCORExUNION@yahoo.com

Feel free to hit me up about anything ever on aim: LukexHuffx

Thanks again!

Support the whole damn scene!

Luke

Kooky.

HARDCORE UNION - 1-3-2006 at 06:47 PM

haha... we're definitely getting mixed responses. Basically if you're in a small label, you'll definitely understand 100%. Once we start it up, if you're in a band, you'll see all the crazy benefits. Finally, after it's all rollin', all you regular scene kids will see how it not only helps those labels and bands, but it'll help you too.

not to put your efforts down here bro but what you're trying to do isn't going to be easy. 99% of the hardcore scene doesn't give a rat's ass about helping each other anymore. Everyone wants to be the next Hatebreed and get on some huge tour with metal bands and be on Headbanger's Ball. Either way, good luck.

hahaah i dont agree 100% but i love a good, straight to the point comment.

i still dont understand what this thing is about ... it just seem like another internet community that starts off honestly but 6 months later is covered in hot pink flashing victory records ads and 7 months later is gone.

that said, good luck .. i'll definetly keep an eye on it.

It's one of those homos from B9, he just changed his user name

I don't know if that's true or not but that made me laugh my ass off. Too fuckin funny.

HAHAHA... WOW. Yeah, I AM a homo... so? I'm obviously not trying to "pick up dudes" on myspace. I'm not sure if you've ever browsed myspace, but there's millions of homos just waiting to get down. I'm actually interested in things outside of "being a homo". I didn't "just change my name"... I purposely changed the name because I also run Bloody Knuckles Records and Bloody Knuckles Skateboards, and I want to separate this whole idea from my personal companies. This isn't some lame scheme to try and make money, get dude's phone numbers, or anything other than just do something good for everyone (and yes, I'm included in everyone). If you think it's lame and don't want to be a part of it... good for you. To everyone else who thinks helping each other and doing something good for the whole scene since it's a tiny scene and often times hard to getshit together on a global scale from your studio apt. while going to school, working full time, and trying to run a label or play in a band, AWESOME!

That being said, We're not singling ourselves out to try and provide one specific type of networking. YES, there will be space for internet video, and zines, and photos, and mp3s, and a distro, and webstores, and touring band info/contacts, and just plain ol band info. Along with a messageboard of course...

I don't know why Boycott has some internet beef with me... I don't know him aside from knowing he's a regular poster on the B9 board. I don't really care, have fun with your beef, and if later you want to join, good for you.... doesn't matter.

Sweet Bro!

Luke.

Either that or they are just looking to give someone a beating for liking the wrong band or start an e-fight because they "dont like someone"

United we win divided we fall
How much have we heard that call
All these years have we learned anything?
New bands form they shout and scream
For some unrealistic dream
It's every man for himself in this world
A thousand years have seen no change
But still you think you'll re-arrange
You'll never change society
Coming together is a good idea
But I haven't seen it happen here
I've just had it with unity

I've had it with unity
We've had it with unity
We've had it with unity
we've had it with unity

Unite and fight, unite and be strong
That shit's gone on for far too long
Don't you see that you will never win
Always looking for a fight
But still you stand and shout unite!
Hypocritical to the end

I've had it with unity
We've had it with unity
We've had it with unity
we've had it with unity

With all the shouting that you do
You'd think that all you say is true
But shouting never changed anything
Never do nothing and nothing gets done
All my hope has long since gone
But you'll be the first to say that you've won

I've had it with unity
We've had it with unity
We've had it with unity
we've had it with unity

The word "scene" is gay. Good for you though kid, you got heart, but it's futile nonetheless.

CR83 - 1-13-2006 at 12:08 PM

I love the effort. It gives me hope that people care. There are too many "nay sayers" nowadays.

Consider me a "Well Wisher". Best of luck Dude.
