hahaha no sorry, i'm not really ... but part of my new years resolutions was to sponser a starving kid in africa and today i got a photo and shit of the kid i'm sponsering ... i seriously feel like a father .. it's an awesome feeling knowing im helping some kid out and it's with the money (US$30 a month) i've saved off not eating junk food (which was my other NYE resolution) so even though we're only a few weeks into this year it's already one of the best of my life.

yeah, sorry haha boring thread.

ps: whatsup with paypal being the only payment option for me when ordering from the thorp store? (paypal fucked me ages ago and i can't sign up again til i get a new credit card) ... i mean, it's bad enough paying $18 postage on a $11 CD but just the fact that I can't even order it blows. ah well ... i was stoked to get discipline too. =(

Ive been sponsoring a kid from the Philipines for a while now. We write to each other from time to time and he sent me a picture he drew of a tree.

Forsaken, that is spectacular!!!!! What part of Africa is the kid from do you know? I've been to Algeria and Egypt and saw plenty of poverty in both, so good for you. Not to burst a bubble or anything, but why did you choose someone from a foreign country? why not look into programs for children in the United States who need the same kind of help? Don't take this as an attack as it is not, I am genuinely curious as to why some people choose to give support outside of our country, is it a trust issue? Good for anyone doing this by the way, it is a great cause.

My five year old daughter sponsors a five year old girl in Cambodia.
Geez, we could have like the Thorp Board Kids or something.
