I loved KISS when I was a kid. I got tickets to see them for Christmas
when I was 6 years old. I think I have every LP up till Revenge all
on vinyl. I cant say that I still listen very often except for the first
record or Alive II once in awhile. I definitly think that Gene Simmons has turned them into a joke with all the
merchandise. Its really just a few levels worse than all the Misfits
junk at this point though.
The WORST thing about KISS is that they are almost like GWAR. KISS
live at this point is Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley in their original make up.
But the guitar player is Ace Frehleys old guitar tech wearing the ACE
costume and make up and the drummer is Eric Singer (last NO make up drummer)
wearing the Peter Criss costume and make up. They even made Eric
dye his hair because he was blonde and Peter had black hair. I think that
is FAR more sad than all the KISS merchandise crap.
