A. forward/ report it to te real paypals spoof email address
B. Do nothing and erase it?
I have been sending it religiously to paypal to confirm it since it started happening about 4 months ago. they always send a email stating its not
them etc, but nothing is really ever done about it.Discipline - 1-31-2006 at 01:02 PM
I haven't got any in months, but I used to report the fake ones to paypal. I also used to reply to the email telling the people to fuck off and
blocking their email address.BDx13 - 1-31-2006 at 01:05 PM
are the emails you're getting pointing to the same fake paypal url? that kind of thing certainly takes time to address, let alone actually resolve.
plus, they have over 80 million accounts - they can't afford to not have an entire team dedicated to fraud prevention. check out this list of

PayPal is VERY safe, you just have to watch out for these fake emails and know the simple rule of ALL online things... WE WILL NEVER ASK YOU FOR YOUR
PASSWORD. Voodoobillyman - 1-31-2006 at 03:55 PM
Yeah dude, but I dont get e-mails from some jerkoff asking for me to log into my money order account. anything that can lead someone to you and allow
them to solicit your supposed stupidity with recreations of a "safe" website................just don't feel right.Spoiler - 1-31-2006 at 07:16 PM
my ebay account was hacked a few weeks ago and someone listed a rolex watch and placed a bid on a riding lawnmower with my username.....ebay was VERY
helpful in getting this resolved, they even called me on the phone....and the hacker was unable to get to my credit card info.I've been a member of
Paypal for about 8 years,and I've never had one problem.....yet.BDx13 - 1-31-2006 at 11:58 PM
^ samething happened to me with ebay a few years ago. they didn't bid on anything, but they listed a bunch of big ticket items. ebay knocked that
shit out pronto.
