Anybody else think this show just helps to feed the paranoia of those who fear imminent terrorist attacks? I like the show, it just seem like it might help foster the fear the Bush reich tries to instill in American citizens.

Never seen it, but yes, it's definitely part of a fear propaganda machine. The nightly news is too though. We have a culture of fear in the US, and that's been so since before 9/11. Shit, even the Discovery Health channel, which should be educational, tends to have a whole lot of shows about some wacked out rare disease to keep you scared of getting it or your kids being born with it.

It sucks.

Best show on TV. While at first it may make you somewhat fearful, the plots are usually so outrageous that it realize that something like that would never happen.
Last season for example. Terrorists forced a meltdown of a nuclear reactor. Yes, this something that could possibly happen, but they way they portrayed it on the show would never happen. Some company made a "remote control" that which would allow you to access the reactor from outside in case of an emergency. Well, terrorists stole this and used it to cause the meltdown. Obviously, something like this doesn't exist.

And even though this show is on Fox, its not a propaganda machine. I'm pretty sure Keifer is a typical hollywood democrat. Plus, the President on the show is a clueless idiot who tries to talk tough, but isn't. Its pretty obvious they are taking a shot at Bush.

The only thing that I find remotely compelling about the whole thing is that the entire season of episodes is supposed to be one day... the execution of such a thing boggles my mind.
