Alright, so in one of the threads Romantic violence brought up the genius idea of doing a steak, beer and porn thing to help with sleep. I find the idea borderline genius, then Saint comes in with Pepsi and Boca, I have been a veg head before(for about a year) and Boca is cool, I dont need everyone around me to drink so I'm alright with the pepsi as well. then dude comes in with root beer, garden burgers and jackie chan bloopers intead of porn?????????!!!!!!!!!! I have to draw a line. I cannot let this go. If you were in a house where steaks were being made, beer was cold and on tap and the porn was a shinin on the boob tube, it's cool for someone to refuse the beer and dead animal for there own thing...........soda and veggie shit (like I said, I like it too) but to say the porn is too much as well and insist on some other viewing pleasure.............seriously, FUCK OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just sick of touchy feely political correctness in this country is all.....what happend to balls? This is not a personal attack on anyone, just a thought while drunk and full of meat.

I was a little put off by the porn refusal myself. I'm sober and vegetarian, but I'm more than happy to hang out with my friends and watch 'em get plastered and stuffed on carcass. At the same time, if the point of the get together is to enjoy some sort of entertainment spectacle and somebody objects to that for whatever reason, maybe they better not hang out that night. Or better yet, just get over whatever it is that keeps them from enjoying the company.

i don't care if someone doesn't want to watch porn. same deal as everything else - do what you want so long as it doesn't effect me.

Thanks Duane. I certainly wasn't suggesting that at such a gathering no one else couldn't enjoy their porn bloopers, I'd just bring a little TV with one of those built in vcrs or something like that (reaching back in the way-back maching here) and watch the Chan bloopers... or I could do that at home. Haha, had no idea that comment would lead to an entirely new thread. Sorry to freak you out Voodoo.

The porn thing isn't about political correctness anyway, it's a religious though. Totally personal.

that kinda the thing about this board... you can say what ya want, and while some may be shocked, it typically yields some healthy discussion, and some occasional heat, but rarely more than that.

personally, i applaud your conviction. it takes all kinds, and i appreciate a little balance.
