Fucked Up Movies

Unbound - 2-27-2006 at 06:49 PM

Ok well after watching possibly the most fucked up and disturbing movie I've ever seen. I thought I would post and ask what you guys would consider the most disturbing movie you've ever seen.

The movie I watched was a Japanese movie called Audition. Pretty damn disturbing and also quite graphic. Not sure if any of you guys are into weird cinema at all, but Testuo is another fucked up Japanese flick that just blows my mind.

Any of you guys seen Battle Royale? I have a VCD of it but it doesn't have english subs so I haven't watched it just yet.

I also forgot to mention. It's somewhat taboo, but any of you guys seen any of the Ilsa movies or any of the other Nazi sleaze movies? I know nazi's are/were horrible people, but these movies are pure cheese and the nazi's always end up dying horrible deaths.

i remember seeing audition during halloween on the amc countdown of top horror movies, alot of torture and whatnot, never saw it but thought it was kinda cool, some simple innocent looking girl could do some serious damage to a guy, let that be a lesson to ya, be careful who you get mixed up with

Audition was great! I saw it on a huge screen with about 800 people attending. The exit of the theatre was at the front, during the infamous torture scene the stairs were blocked by dozens of people trying to get out of the theatre.

I have seen my fair share of 'sick' films: Miike Takashi's Visitor X, Michael Haneke's Funny games, Ki-Duk Kim's The Isle, Gaspar No?'s Irreversible. But the one that really grossed me out was Passolini's Salo. First time I didn't even finish it, feeling to disgusted with myself for watching this filth.

Battle Royale is fuckin' great!

In order to keep high school kids in line they send entire classes off to an island and give some weapons and others just random shit... and then make them fight each other to the death until there's only one left... otherwise they'll blow their heads off with these explosive collars they latch onto them. Holy shit, way fucked up, but superb!

A regular flick that I saw that I think is fucked up is 8MM... get's into the whole snuff film scene and shit... Nick Cage looking for the motherfuckers that killed a 14 year old girl on film. Disturbing shit.

that whole collar thing was used in running man, my favorite arnold schwarzenengger, spelling? movie

Running Man was awesome, and is probably my favorite arnold flick. The goalie with the razor goalie stick kicks serious ass.

I actually have a copy of Battle Royale but haven't watched it yet. Definitely will very soon. Also have a copy of Ichi the Killer to watch.

I haven't seen Salo yet but have heard it is quite hard to stomach.

Some movies I would put in this catagory...

VULGAR
the ILSA movies
BATTLE ROYAL
maybe DOOM GENERATION

I saw that on AMC too!. They were talking about how the last 15-20 minutes of the movie is when all the crazy shit hit the fan.

Another movie they talked about on there was a movie called "freaks". I never saw that movie either but it looks awesome.

I rented John Water's "Polyester" and "Desperate Living" tonight, not too disturbing but pretty fucked up.

I have never heard of these crazy movies you are talking about exept that 8mm movie. what is so disturbing about the? What happens in them?

Unbound - 2-27-2006 at 11:40 PM

Just mainly violence and well things you don't normally see in movies. And by violence I mean violence. Like feet being cut off in graphic detail. Needles stabbed into eyeballs, and just in general far beyond what most people would consider gory. This stuff makes American horror films look like Disney movies.

clevohardcore - 2-28-2006 at 12:22 AM

My idea of crazy is GUMMO and I'd have to say sick shit like your talking about.
