Ive always really liked 'the massacre' record, but most other people hate that one. the 'Jesus is Dead' ep is great too.

I would have to say Beat the Bastards and and Lets Start a War are my fav. Exploited albums.

I had a punk's not dead t-shirt in highschool. There was a guy on my hockey team who was a "dead head" and took offense to it. So gay.

I just listened to the song Politicians. Watty calls the White House at the end and asks for Mr. Reagan. She won't put him through and asks for a message. He just says, "Yeah, tell him to take care."

He even tells the lady that it is Watty from the Exploited. So funny.

haha, I have that Punk's Not Dead t-shirt lying around still. Have had it for years now. It's in rough shape and smells rancid. I'm afraid to wash it because it might fall apart.

I had the massacre, death before dishonor, punks not dead and live at the whitehouse all on cassette. I got to get them on cd. Live at the whitehouse is one of my fav live records. Up their with LIVEAGE by the descendents

i loved them when i was 14, not so much at 28. i think they're laughably terrible now. of all the stuff i liked at that age, they've aged the worst for me. i still have a bit of vinyl of theirs, not that i ever listen to any of it.

I remeber having conviction about them being really awsome and revolutionary or something. Until I met the band in 92 when they toured with BIOHAZARD and I got to meet the bands before the show. Biohazard where realy cool except for Danny and Watty drank a whole bottle of Jack before the gig. In the middle of Exploiteds set he runs off stage into the regular bathroom. Then emerges after 2 or 3 minutes later and said he had the shits. Dude was very hammered. He could hardy stand up.

Though I rarely listen to them anymore, I still have a soft spot in my heart for The Exploited. A friend of mine taped me "Let's Start a War" and "Troops of Tomorrow" back in 88 which was pretty much my first exposure to hardcore and punk.
I was basically listening to glam rock at the time, though had recently gotten into bands like Megadeth and Metallica. But The Exploited was just so freaking different that anything I had heard before. I was blown away. From there, this same dude got me into McRad, SOD and The Misfits. Not long after I got a tape with Minor Threat and YOT on it, I was hooked at that point and haven't looked back.
I still have that dub tape with the 2 Exploited records on it. I don't think I could ever get rid of it.
