SHIT! Now I feel dumb! I knew that, its just when I read the name even though I read V.O.D. my brain thought L.O.A.

sorry!

MyOwnWay - 3-11-2006 at 07:29 PM

No worries!

I was promoting this shit somewhere else, and typed 2005 instead of 2006. Now thats a damn oops!

crazyfists28 - 3-11-2006 at 07:30 PM

LIFE OF AGONY STRIKES AGAIN....sorry, my favorite band eva

Discipline - 3-11-2006 at 08:06 PM

I love V.O.D.!!!!!!!!!!

Voodoobillyman - 3-11-2006 at 09:10 PM

Wow, VOD huh? saw them with Diecast and Shadows fall right before they called it quits, good show, still not worth sitting through all of that posturing NYHC crap at the show.

BDx13 - 3-12-2006 at 02:13 PM

now VOD, i'd like to see again. people oughtta go nuts for them.

Discipline - 3-12-2006 at 04:55 PM

I saw them play a few times. Awesome live band. I remember seeing them play with Candiria and Skarhead, fucking amazing show.

JawnDiablo - 3-12-2006 at 05:25 PM

i didnt even know VOD was still around
i really liked them
and i knew nothing about that ugly kid joe thing and LOA
isnt keith caputo in it anymore?
i only like river runs red and the 2 demos before that
the second demo is the shit and would love to have a full cd version

crazyfists28 - 3-12-2006 at 06:31 PM

yeah juan, keith and loa got back together but they have since been dropped by their label so now its kind of in limbo, i agree the earliest stuff was the most aggressive and highest quality tunes they did....

JawnDiablo - 3-12-2006 at 06:57 PM

the only way i ever hear news about music is through this board....

crazyfists28 - 3-12-2006 at 07:06 PM

if you really liked the older loa stuff, you probably wouldn't like the album they put out last year, more modern rockish stuff, rrr and the pre rrr stuff is the best....but they did make one new album and hopefully more in the future, joey z the guitar player just opened a recording studio in nyc, called method of groove studio..i believe

I worked this show in austin...
damn near a riot when skarhead played....
never really got into vod much, saw them twice and never got what the hype was about....

clevohardcore - 3-12-2006 at 08:02 PM

VOD is one of those bands. Kick ass no matter what they sounded like.

This is a man who has not heard From Bliss To Devisation.

VOD was one of those bands I took for granted. I had the chance to see them in Philly with Clutch at the Troc, and I didnt go for whatever reason, figuring I'll catch them on the next run. Never did go, then they broke up.

I am already standing at the doors, waiting to get in. I cant fucking wait for this amazing show.
