Exactly. I'm headed to SOIA tomorrow night. Should be plenty of that shit that looks like kick boxing and Kung Fu.

Bar = best spot at a show these days. Let the kids have their gay little karate shit, it will eventually evolve into something else, maybe the next trend will be to go completely old school with everything so shows look like they did back in the 80's. What would we have to bitch about then?

JawnDiablo - 3-13-2006 at 10:56 AM

about 10 years ago i punched some kid square in the face for kung fooing at me ...it really pissed me off.....

couldnt agree more, the "youngsters" have no reason to come over to the bar other than in between bands for water or an energy drink, so you're pretty much safe from all the nonsense, and you can grab a beer much quicker...

JawnDiablo - 3-13-2006 at 02:19 PM

sometimes this thorp board blows me away with how much people on here think the same crap as me....

werd..the kids here now do cartwheels one the gayest things i think i've ever seen..

crazyfists28 - 3-13-2006 at 04:02 PM

im not flexible enough to do half that praying mantis bullshit that i see nowadays anyways, i can barely touch below my kneecaps when stretching, so im not gonna do any windmill flying 720 kickflips with a high five at the end even if i could

Actually, I think the gayest "move" would be that wheelbarrow thing where a dude holds his friends legs and then lifts him in the air while dry-humping him.

I like to punch and like... do "the Gorilla" as it was called in that SOIA vid... I'm from that group that came into hardcore when the kung fu was becoming the craze and I actually do kung fu... that's not at all how I want to dance though. I like to watch for the most part anyways...
