you driving down or flying? I live in Va beach but wont be in town when this comes through. Sorry, enjoy though. You been down here before? This is so wierd, the one person who is coming to VA since i've been posting here just happens to be the only person from the state I grew up in. When in town check these record stores out:

Skinnies records (Norfolk) real close to the Norva
Relative theory records (Norfolk) even closer to the Norva
Camp Zama (Norfolk) further away from the Norva
Volume records (Va beach) in another city, but well worth checking out.

Ehhhh i'm really not a big fan. I have the greatest hits, Legacy & the Ball of Destruction 7". I like the 7" a lot and some stuff on the greatest hits, but Im not into Legacy at all really and they just dont really do it for me.

JawnDiablo - 3-17-2006 at 11:15 AM

the show :
met the dog from these boards there... that was cool
drank some beers..that too was cool
well Madball played a tight set as usual.
the audience, unfortunatley seemed very tame. very tame for a madball show in philly. it seemed at some points that they only knew the songs off of legacy. i'm figuring all of this attributes to the fact that it is a ferret recrords tour and allot of the audience was there to see the other bands. i wasnt into the other bands at all. i mean i never miss a madball show, but they seriously need to roll into town on their own terms with maybe H2O or somethin. them shows a couple of years ago were greeat at the troc. Plus i like the troc allot more than the TLA. I'd love to see them in a place like CBGB or somethin where it is a less controlled environment.
all in all they put on a good show, but it didnt compare to the last couple of times i seen em

DaveMoral - 3-17-2006 at 07:44 PM

I didn't see you juan, but I wasn't around the bar much. I was right up front during Madball though.

Dude, did you miss the Madball show at the First Unitarian back in November? That show was fuckin' amazing! Madball, Death Before Dishonor, and I don't know who else. The place was torn up!

JawnDiablo - 3-17-2006 at 08:09 PM

yeah i wasnt able to make it down for that one. my friend wren said it was a great show too.
rats.....

thedog - 3-20-2006 at 02:22 PM

got to the show late
missed the banner, and scarlet
got there during remembering never- wasnt a fan
than zao played - wasnt a fan
than finally Madball, they put on a good set.
but the sound in the TLA is pretty lousy.
and i got to meet a fellow Thorp Boarder- juandiablo
so for $14 it was worth it.
