Welch Boys CD release with The Blue Bloods CANCELED!?

I just got this from The Blue Bloods....

Hey there,

Due to circumstances beyond our control, our gig for next Friday 3/24 at the Middle East Upstairs has been cancelled.

Apparently there are some issues with the club, so please don't hate us. We will reschedule as soon as humanly

possible. Believe us, we want nothing more than to hit the stage again.

This has been confirmed. This was posted by The Welch Boys on MySpace...

Due to circumstances beyond our control (in other words blame the club, not us) our CD release party scheduled for March 24th has been cancelled. We're sorry and will me making it up. We will re-schedule it and post the info as soon as we get it. Thanks for not hating us.

I hate that place. The Upstairs is better then the Downstairs, but it so blows.

I can understand if the club is worried about problems, I really can. But they waited a week before to cancel this after it was already booked for 3 months. This didnt make me to happy but what the hell can you do? I apologize to everyone that was planning on going to this.

Im sorry it got canceled, but it actually works out for me because I couldnt go to the show on the 24th.

If they're worried about stage diving, there's no way it would happen upstairs because that stage can barely fit a band. Total bullshit move from that club. I really dislike the place.
