Ramallah tunes to....in The Horror and The Gag?

BrokenMArtyR - 3-30-2006 at 09:57 PM

I just have a question... my band (Peace Be With) has to come up witha cover in one month, learn it, and lay it in downtown Birmingham, AL for out guitarists dad, because he wants us to open for a band playing at their restaraunt. All of us love the song The Horror and the Gag, but we can't find any guitar/bass tabs, nor drum.....parts...(?) but we can hear the drums a little better and drums don't really have to have a tuning, so to speak. All I'm asking is, if noones considers it copyright infringment, I would greatly appreciate it if I could either see only the tuning or the entire tab. If I had the tuning I could probably tab it out myself and teach the band. We are pretty sure we have it down for the bass. (Everything but the "nah nah nah nah" parts and the intro to the chorus, but we're working on it)

I don't know, just saying that would help us along very much if anyone could send it via U2U or just post it. If anyone does consider it copyright infringment, thanks anyways, because stealing shit like that from other people, in my opinion, IS pretty fucked up.

So thanks in advanced, and if not, then no problem at all.
Peace to all of you.

Chopsticks is the extent of my musical abilities, and I suck at playing that.

Hsh, thanks anyways.. I'm still working on it and messaged the band on their MySpace, but idk.. I'll just have to work on ear playing it... this'll be my first. Later, and Peace Be With.

I'd probably say it's likely dropped C... that's what almost every heavy band is doing these days.

no offense but that song is pretty easy to play by ear.

Oh, I know that one, I'm pretty sure I've figured out the main rift as Drop C

G 0-1-0-4-3-1-0
C 0-1-0-4-3-1-0....

I don't know, though. Drop C sounds too low (I play Drop D) and Drop D sounds to high... I tried Drop D flat, sounds awkward, so Im just kind of sticking to D. I do have to say,Bob's voice is so unique... it's unfair because mine just kind of sounds hm... how to put it... odd? My scream is a little better, but with the speed of someparts to that song and the yell/scream.... damn.

Thanks a lot anyways, guys. And if anyone finds anything, I would greatly appreciate it. xbatmanx17@yahoo.com

Drop in, invite, message. What the fuck ever, I don't care.

Peace, all.

i used to have alot of problems working other bands tunings/tabs by myself but i found the easiest way to work out a tuning is by turning the distortion off on your gutiar and playing the CD/song listening for the lowest chord/note they play then play readjusting the tuning on your guitar's lowest string until it matches ... plug it into ur tuner and see what note it is
