SAILOR'S GRAVE is excited to welcome ROGER MIRET AND THE DISASTERS to the wayward family. Roger and the boys are currently wrapping up the production on their SGR debut entitled My Riot. The effort was recorded at Big Blue Meanie studios and will feature guest appearances by LARS FREDERICKSON (Rancid), PATRICIA DAY and KIM NEKROMAN (Horrorpops), AL BARR (Dropkick Murphys), and VIC RUGGIERO (The Slackers). The release is slated for a late summer 2006 release.

I seriously fell out of my chair after reading this headline.

I'm so excited to hear the new material. 1984 was a stand-up album!

Depends. Once you see him live with both bands.. he dresses pretty much the same.

I think he does that just for promotional photos.

It sounds strange, but I don't think AF was ever his "style", I think it just kind of happened. I remember reading an interview somewhere and he said the first time he saw AF (I think he was in The Psychos at the time) he thought they were the worst band he'd ever seen, and then Stigma tapped him to sing. Pretty funny.

Great news. Keep it up SGR!

I heard something like that even on the Live at CBGB DVD from Roger... but I think it had alot to do with the early line ups of AF not acting as a unit... and it would often break down within the first song to just Stigma and the drummer playing while the other guys were dancing...
