Roadrunner has signed much hyped UK-based metal act Dragonforce. The label announced the signing with an extensive list of "Dragonforce Facts"
including:
At [a] show, Dragonforce played so fast, they broke the speed of light, traveled back in time, and ripped a hole in the Titanic, causing it to sink.
So now, before shows, Dragonforce's manager injects them with horse tranquilizer which dramatically slows them down in order to avoid such tragedies
from occuring again.
The label will release the band's third album, Inhuman Rampage and the band will be supprting the record on a North American tour featuring Vagrant
act Protest the Hero.

i thought they were a joke the first time i heard them. literally. i think oz turned me on to them. but the kids seem to love 'em.

Valley of the Damned - Great Tunes, Super Catchy
Sonic Firestorm - Has it's moments but compared to valley of the damned lackluster

i saw them live last month. i liked some songs from sonic firestorm and had heard good things about their live act but it was a little dissapointing.
the sound wasn't good and thye played their two best songs right at the beginning. dragonforce is a band with highly skilled musicians who aren't very
good at writing more than a couple of songs. seriously, if you sit through one of their albums it all gets the same after a couple of tracks. as for
their style, it's well executed 80's power metal with all its cliche's. it's probably not meant to be taken 100% seriously.
