Vanity with old age or metrosexuality?

Ok... possibly embarassing admission coming up....

Ive never been a person that cares what anyone else thinks of me or worries about 'looking good' or anything like that at all! That having been said, when I see an older person (like 50+ usually) with a huge hair sticking out of their nose (bridge or nostrel) I wonder how the hell can they not see that and/or not be bothered by it.

I was reminded of this as I was just using my battery powered nose hair trimmer. In my defense I bought it because I heard somewhere that if theres less nasal hair it can help with stuffyness from allergies. I know that the hair filters the air which helps the allergies, but the thing I read said that if it gets to long or to full it can get you congested very easily.

Ok... so am I gay?

I don't give a shit if people don't dig my style or whatever, but there's something to be said for taking pride in your appearance no matter your age or gender. And yeah, trim that shit.

My nose hairs can get pretty long, so I got a trimmer a while ago. I dont use it much though. I actually rip the hairs out instead. Ive gotten used to the pain, and I dont really feel it anymore. I find it much more satisfying to rip them out for some reason. It makes my girlfriend cringe though.

But yeah... nose hairs suck and I think it's fine to trim them.

I generally pull them out, but if Im shaving and I think of it Ill pull out the trimmer and use that. I also "groomed" my "Beard" today. It was practily a day of beauty at my house! Hahahahaha

I've always had an admiration for crazy old men with disgustingly long ear or nose hair. My amazement is on two levels, one that they have the ability to grow 3-inch nose hairs and two that they are willing to just leave them there, it sort of broadcasts "yeah I'm gross, what the fuck are you gonna do about it" to anyone who glances at them- that's the sort of lunacy I like to see.

I've got a beard right now (another thread altogether) and the hair on my upper lip has blended in with hair growing out of my nose. My wife is gonna kill me in my sleep soon, I'm sure.
