its at the barbary
you know people are gonna get killed at this at the barbary

BDx13 - 4-19-2006 at 09:08 PM

i plan on going, but i'm not familiar with the barbary. talk to me.

gavin - 4-19-2006 at 09:27 PM

VERY small club
no security at all
when the murder junkies played there last there was a fight with a.c. dudes and the dudes in necktie(bad luck crew)
dont know the details really just that there was heat

the murder junkies are playting there friday night with clayton from antiseen singing
clayton had some heat with a.c. dudes last time out in jersey
im picking him up at the airport that morning but im not sure if i feel like dealing with the show
my head is not on right for that shit right this second

Where's the Barbary at? I'm really looking forward to the Business and the Disasters.

Two days later Punishment is playing for the first time in Philly in like 2 years at the Rotunda, for those interested.

gavin - 4-19-2006 at 11:48 PM

its like half a block off of del. ave
right past spring garden

Can someone expand on the "X BLood For Blood" statement above?

I think that's the band with their old drummer.

I wish the Business were allowed into Canada.:(

yeah same place
we played there a little bit ago
its a pretty ok place in general
but im thinking this show may be a nightmare

BDx13 - 4-21-2006 at 12:58 PM

i was planning on bringing my wife and a few other non-regular-show-goers to this, but you guys are making me give this a second thought. bottom line is, if the venue is gonna be insanely packed and the air rife with pending violence, then i may not. thoughts?

the place is khyber size
set up different but about the same
hard to say ya know
im totally guessing that the business is gonna bring out knuckleheads
and im guessing it is gonna be packed

JawnDiablo - 4-21-2006 at 03:03 PM

i try to avoid such circumstances. but there are all real good bands on this bill. i'm gonna have to think about it anyway. i'm getting too old to get jumped by nazis...

DaveMoral - 4-21-2006 at 05:19 PM

So should I come prepared guys? Seriously... we should roll in there as a "gang" and just have each others' backs... I'm not comfortable going into potentially violent situations without friends, all mine moved to either Erie or Boston...

wait.... so Punishment is back together or do they just play sporatically now? I'd love to see them again!

JawnDiablo - 4-21-2006 at 06:23 PM

whats rotunda?

DaveMoral - 4-21-2006 at 10:08 PM

The Rotunda's on like Walnut some where's... First Things First Productions is handling that show. Wisdom in Chains is on that bill too.

I think Punishment is back together, but not full time because JoeHxC's in SR on a full time basis.
