I was just on the air with Henry Rollins on the Howard Stern show and I asked him about a Black Flag reunion and he said that since there were
multiple bass players and drummers that the only true reunion would be the original band. He also said that he would personally not want to be
involved in any reunion of the band. He said that he did the shows a few years back only to raise money for the West Memphis Three, but that was it.
I also asked about Dickey Barret being fired from the radio station he also works on and he said he felt bad, but he does his show once a week for
free just so he can play music he likes and doesnt intend to quit just for Dickey. He said Dickey wrote him right after he was fired and told him to
keep on doing his stuff and that they are good friends.GabeTexasGAMC - 4-20-2006 at 09:43 AM
How did you pull this off you scumbag?
Being on a show and all...crazyfists28 - 4-20-2006 at 10:03 AM
if you show you have relevant questions for a guest they are pretty good about putting you through. especially with someone like rollins that stern
probably isn't as keen on as some. i'll have to go listen to the replay so i can hear the great honus on the radio. did you give a shout out to thorp?
kidding.....XHonusWagnerX - 4-20-2006 at 10:03 AM

I just started calling the minute they introduced Henry and kept hitting redial until I got through. Then I stayed on hold until they took my call!

maybe it's the jerk that I am
but how bad would a black flag reunion be...
maybe not the bad
not the music
but tickets way over priced
and the shows would be packed with 40 somethings and 16 year olds
we'd all just come back here and bitch about it...
no it's better left aloneupyerbum - 4-20-2006 at 10:58 AM
Rollins won't do one cuz he wasn't the first singer.XHonusWagnerX - 4-20-2006 at 11:02 AM

yah thast what he said when I talked to him this morning. The contridiction is that he did full Black Flag sets with the Rollins Band playing back up
to raise money for the West Memphis Three. I would KILL to see just that, but I missed it when they did that tour.GabeTexasGAMC - 4-20-2006 at 11:44 AM
the only show ive ever made it through is Art Bell.Discipline - 4-20-2006 at 11:45 AM

I cant agree with you guys on this one. I wasnt old enough to see Black Flag with any singer and I missed the tour he did for the WM3. It would be
VERY difficult for me to be dissapointed with a Black Flag show.
I know that just seeing 8 Misfits songs played by 1/2 of that original band was one of the greatest things Ive ever seen and any incarnation of Black
Flag could top that for me!Discipline - 4-20-2006 at 12:04 PM
I never got to see Black Flack either because of age. But because of the intensity of live albums and videos we've seen what a Flag show could be
like and how intense they were. I just don't think it would be the same.
Doyle and Danzig doing the Misfits tunes did indeed kick serious ass.JUICE MAYNE MSHC - 4-20-2006 at 12:52 PM
HAHAH...I just heard you on there! I listen to the West Coast feed. Some other guy called in to say Henry Rollins called him out from the stage
about dancing too hard and Rollins said "Well you were probably beating on the smaller guys" and the guy was like "Whatever, I come from the hardcore
scene" HAHA. Top notch.gavin - 4-20-2006 at 01:08 PM
i saw the wm3 tour

Honus, although I don't share your enthusiasm for Howard Stern, my boss has Sirius and I actually remember your call, haha. I think the interview was
great, though.XHonusWagnerX - 4-21-2006 at 06:54 PM
