Howard Stern Film Festival...

XHonusWagnerX - 4-27-2006 at 09:28 AM

Im getting ready to leave for CT to take the train to NYC. Get off at Grand Central and then walk to the Hudson Theater for the Howard Stern film festival.

I have my phone (with internet) so if I'm bored I know I will poke in on the Thorp because how could I go a whole day without checking in!

Either way everyone have a great Thursday and Ill update if anything super cool happens!

Just saw the producer of the "on demand" show Doug Goodstein

And the one and only...

the throp board is getting live updates from the howard stern film festival. what a scene!

XHonusWagnerX - 4-27-2006 at 06:33 PM

I'm seated now. We were #22 and 23 in line, not bad!! We saw most of the stars come in from a bit of a distance. I got to shake Arties hand and he gave me shit for wearing a redsox hat. Hahaha...

Not much else to report yet!

crazyfists28 - 4-27-2006 at 08:21 PM

artie is da man, awsome that you saw him. they're showing the first previews for "beer league" tonight, that's arties movie coming out this summer

XHonusWagnerX - 4-27-2006 at 10:49 PM

Beer League looks hysterical!! Artie & Ralph Maccio!!

The film festival rocked! Didn't meet anyone, but didn't really expect to so its all good.

The movies were all awesome and the one that was really the best did win so that makes it even better since 1st prize was over $30,000 in cash & prizes!

The movies made by the staff were ok, but nothing compared to the listener submissions.

We are on the way home on the train. The festival ended at 9:45 so we took the 10:22 train and should be home & in bed by a little after 2:00am!

Artie rules!
Howard is awesome!
Sirius rules!

made it home at 1:59! Not to bad... Long day, but totally worth it!

sounds like it went really good, i was skeptical that it would be put together poorly just cuz its stern and not some film institute or whatever. heard bits and pieces on the replay shows from yesterday. most of the regulars were there
