Not much in the news about this.

Check out this video too:

Amazing stuff. Hopefully he doesnt get buried by big oil.

BDx13 - 5-10-2006 at 02:32 PM

wow, that literally gave me the chills. i fucking live technology.

so how long you figure until ethanol car sales get to the level of current hybrids, and then how long after that until the water cars are on the market?

defstarsteve - 5-10-2006 at 03:13 PM

ethanol will be there in 2-3 years if the current gas situation stays the way it is

but this guy
he already has the patent and a working model...
if he is smart about it and there could be water fueld cars on the road in that time and we could go to a full water based system in 10 years....

guess mr. gates wont be the richest man in the world for long

fuck the middle east-there are too many problems

XnMeX - 5-10-2006 at 03:17 PM

HOLY SHIT! That is INSANE! This guy is gonna go down in history for this.

Also, does anyone else find it funn that he lives in "Clearwater"? ;)

That shit is fucking cool!

CR83 - 5-10-2006 at 03:28 PM

I would not be surprised if this dude winds up dead. Fuck "big oil".

defstarsteve - 5-10-2006 at 03:40 PM

but if does end up dead
the patent is placed
we have all seen it
they can't stop it

I think we should spread this all over
the more people who know his name
the more people who will remember if he does die by big oil

That news lady hit the nail on the head. THE WATER PRICES. Thanks for sharing I am passing this video to everyone on my email.

DaveMoral - 5-10-2006 at 05:21 PM

This will be so fuckin cool..... if this thing has to have like filtered water you could build a filter into the damn thing and just go fill up at the stream or river or lake. How fucking cool is that???

DaveMoral - 5-10-2006 at 05:21 PM

"Honey, I need to fill up the car, could you get me the hose?"

XHonusWagnerX - 5-10-2006 at 08:41 PM

HOLY FUCK! SIGN ME UP!!

Six66Mike - 5-10-2006 at 10:27 PM

I have't read the link yet but here's some thoughts on the whole fuel crisis & alternatives:

- We already have a global shortage of freshwater & our oceans are already being fucked over by melting ice caps & glaciers. We don't really need to mess that up any more than we already do. Not to mention the number of countries who get water from provate companies due to WB/IMF interference forcing the governments to do it in order to get aid money.

- Ethanol is a great idea...but you need to grow it. Agriculture has already killed nearly half our liveable planet. How many more hectares of the Amazon are we willing to lose just to fuel our cars?

I don't get the whole hybrid thing either. You fill it with gas still but then you plug it in? How does this help the environment? You still have to use coal or nuclear fuel to supply the electricity in your house where you plug the car into right?

I still don't have an Aussie drivers license & the way things are I have no intention of doing so any time soon because of operating costs & the simple fact that every alternative fuel I've seen still has massive downsides. Just because they don't emit gases that kill ozone doesn't mean they are eco-friendly still. They just fuck something else up instead.

I won't comment on the rest of the stuff mike said because I'm not educated enough on the subject, but I know a little about hybrid cars.

You don't plug them in at all. The battery is self charging and it charges everytime you even slightly apply the breaks. I don't know the mechanics of it but I do know that's how it works.

Actually, water doesn't disappear the way oil does. Burn to steam and it falls as rain. We just can't use too much too fast. (heard that before?)
