It's more interesting to let people find it themselves and then choose to register or not, kind of a weeding out if you will.

let the single post ever ebay spammers have the main section and if someone seems like they deserve to enter we let them in....

that way they can promote the board and get more traffic and we don't have to deal with them

i dunno... we usually have around 50 registered members visit the site every day. of those, probably 20 or so post on a daily basis. and it's not like there is a shortage of unregistered people visiting the boards - there are literally hundreds of 'em every day - they seem to choose just not too post. i even created a forum that doesn't require registration, and still, no one has posted.

i figure, either...
- this board isn't fast-paced enough, or
- the lack of drama is a deterrent, or
- maybe all this relatively meaningful conversation is a turnoff.

It doesn't happen often, but everyone once and a while when someone new joins, they jump in feet first. DaveMoral is the most recent that comes to mind. barc0debaby seems to be getting on board, as well.

Let me know if you're serious about wanting a private forum. But honestly, if all youz started posting in there, no one would be posting out here!

Other than the occasional post on SGR, the only board other than this that I post on is a wrestling one. I don't think we need a special section. I like it the way it is. Some new people come along once in a while that are cool and stick around. I think we should let others come to us. Any people who post just to sell shit or pimp their band should be deleted.
