Yes, I've had several "friends" do this to quit smoking. Worked VERY Well. I think you need to be a very "suggestable" or "willing to be lead" type of person. Or maybe just a beleiver in it. To really get some solid benefit s from it.

I would recommend it based on people I know.

Mr. Reed is right. I can't be hypnotized for whatever reason. A good hypnotist can tell just by looking in your eyes whether or not they can put you under.

thats good to know. so basicly IF you are able to be hypnotised then the odds are good that it will work for whatever you are trying to stop doing.

Anyone know about the costs? Ive found 2 places in my area. One place gives you 1 two hour session for $60 and they give you a CD of the session. The other place gives you 3 fourty-five minute sessions and a CD of all 3 sessions for $200.

Is this a case of 'you get what you pay for' or do you think the cheaper one is the way to go?

i'd ask for references, but both are relatively reasonable. also, do a little research online about what works and what doesn't.

Research is always best.
