Hey all, I've been in Portland Oregon for the past week and I'm flying back to Philly Sunday morning.

Been a good trip, lots of Evergreens and such. Took a day and stayed on the Pacific coast, went to the Evergreen Aviation Museum on another day and saw the Spruce Goose... that's a big wooden plane lemme tell ya.

Anyways, I'll check back in Monday. Have a blast in my absence!

The spruce goose is in Oregon? I thought it was in California for some reason. Weird.

I had a gf that used to want to move to Oregon & I always liked the idea but all you hear is that it rains like everyday. It does sound like a nice place to visit though. Maybe someday!

a friend of mine was out in Portland on business a few years ago. He told me it was one of the nicest places he had been in the US. He told me there's classic cars everywhere, and it is just way cleaner than he was used to. Living in and around Philly, you'd know what he means. I'm hoping to go to Chicago in August, as well as possibly Austin Tx to visit my brother again. We will see what the old cashola allows....

Oregon and washington are nice, I dont know about moving there though as my stays were brief. I was in Portland, Uegene, OR. and Tacoma and seattle WA. Both states are beautiful.

It's definitely beautiful there. I lived there for a year, I never want to move back. Job market sucks and you have to drive too damn much to get to damn near everything. Still, great for a vacation.

Spruce Goose moved to Oregon a few years ago... pretty impressive for a big wooden plane. The whole museum is built around it basically. The wingspan is like just over a football field long and the length of the fuelselage(I butchered that) is just under a football field.... nuts. They had some other cool "relics" there too. There was a lunar lander, even.
