what should the resolution
frame rate
and ratio be for Mpegs, I don't want to kill my bandwidth

this is gonna require a little trial and error on your part, scott. finding the right balance between quality and file size can be tough. the
content of the video (i assume live shows?) is gonna make a big difference, too.
most of the videos we have on thorp are 320x240 mov files and for the three or so minutes, average 15MB. on sgr we've started usign 300x400 movs, and
they average about 24mb.
a lot of people are using flash video these days. that's a good idea because like 99% of the people online have the flash plugin, so you know
everyone will be able to see it, and you can get a decent quality/size ratio, but most people are putting horrible quality video.

i like to go with quicktime for web videos. works best in my opinion. quicktime 7 has amazing video quality at low sizes. people just have to start
downloading it.
