Pull Up Your Fucking Pants!

CR83 - 7-7-2006 at 02:51 PM

I just don't get it. Why the fuck has it been cool for so long to wear big ass pants past your ass and hanging down? Am I just a crusty old guy who is out of it?

My neighbor is a 17 year black kid. A real good guy and everytime I see him with his pants sagging down I yell at him to stop being a fucking idiot.

No idea why I'm so bothered buy it, but it does.

clevohardcore - 7-7-2006 at 03:17 PM

Its a jail/ prison thang, but not too many people know that. Same thing with all the idiots wearing there shirts on top of there heads and covering there faces. I do not understand the importance of it in society. However the prisoners do this to hide there faces from cameras other inmates and guards.

Leary is awesome. I'll check it out.

This thread makes me think of White Trash Rob's rant before "Ya Still a Paper Gangster" or Revenge on Society.....

That reminds me of some of the ONE LIFE CREW songs

I've never understood the whole hip-hop culture. The baggy clothes, pants halfway down the ass, pantyhose on the head, etc. None if it makes any sense to me.

What I understand even less is people being proud of sounding illiterate. I hear rappers being interviewed and they sound like uneducated morons. The whole spelling things wrong on purpose bit is completely beyond. The fact that this stupidity has become normal in the hardcore scene pisses me off. I'm proud of being intelligent. I would never go around trying to purposely make myself sound stupid.

straighten ya hat, why you walking like that, why you talking like that? fucking think youre ice cube or something. go whitewash your daddys fence or listen to r.e.o speedwagon, you fucking suburban nerd

JawnDiablo - 7-7-2006 at 08:24 PM

OLC one of the best bands to ever grace hardcore. Saw them in Detroit with Cold As Life and Krutch way back in the day.

As far as the pants thing, I like them a bit lose and a bit low, but some of these fools just look absurd.

MM.

tireironsaint - 7-10-2006 at 09:33 PM

I fuckin' HATE the droopy drawers look, drives me nuts. I went down to this town about an hour from here with a couple friends a while back and they needed something from the mall while we were there. We walk in and there's this guy doing this weird duck walk because he's got his pants hangin' below his ass. I said something about how he might be able to walk like a normal fuckin' human being if he would just pull up his goddamned pants and he looked over his shoulder at me and then waddled over to a bench where he sat sulking and staring at us until we were out of sight.

On a related note, I have held on to a really old Dropkick Murphys shirt primarily because the back of it says "Get a haircut and wear some clothes that fit, you FREAK".

Discipline - 7-11-2006 at 06:10 PM

It is my firm belief that the whole trend of super baggy clothes was started by a bunch of scrawny little fucks who wanted to look bigger. They didn't want people to realize what tiny little fucks they really were.

clevohardcore - 7-12-2006 at 12:13 AM

It started in jail. the prisoners wore clothes given to them and most of the time were bigger than normal to fit more prisoners.

CR83 - 7-12-2006 at 04:14 PM

So being proud of being put away? That is totally different then what most would think.

godabandonedme - 7-12-2006 at 04:17 PM

You'd be surprised at what certain people are proud of, it's disgusting.

DaveMoral - 7-12-2006 at 06:49 PM

I'd damn sure be proud to survive prison...

JawnDiablo - 7-12-2006 at 07:09 PM

i know alot of boneheads who brag about jail time with much pride
almost to the extent of when i would hear my uncles talk about being in WW2...

Discipline - 7-12-2006 at 08:12 PM

I can't believe how people brag about doing time, it's so stupid and just makes the person look ignorant. I'd be embarassed if I had to tell people I'd been locked up.

DaveMoral - 7-13-2006 at 06:16 PM

Braggin' about it lame, particularly since wearing the shit like a badge of honor basically says you're still a fuckin' crook. Surviving the ordeal without gettin' shanked or ass raped and comin' out and NOT being a criminal again.... something to be proud of right there.
