Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

The Descent

This flick pretty much kicked ass. I won't spoil anything, but if you dig old school creepouts with hardly any cgi you'll love this. The director is also responsible for one of the best werewolf movies ever...Dog Soldiers.

Just a heads up. The movie was out in Europe like a year ago, so if you have torrents you might just be able to find a copy of it to download online. And by might I mean you can 100% for sure, and it is an awesome dvd rip.

One of the weird things about this movie (which Unbound just gave an explination for) is that I bought it on DVD (bootleg) over a year ago. I do however remember seeing comercials for it on US tv. So I bet it was released in Europe and to some film festivals and then the movie company decided to put off the release for some reason. I wonder if they changed the end or something....

I was curious to know if they changed it for the US, supposedly it has a different ending in the US. But I don't know. Just out of curiosity how did it end in the theaters Jason? Did Sara nail the other chick in the leg with the pick and then escape only to find out it was a dream? Pretty damn gory flick all around too.

It ended when she saw the other girl in the car after she escaped, she didnt wake back up in the cave.

Girls getting trapped in a cave and hunted by crazy ass Nosferatu things.

The great thing about that movie is that it doesn't pull any punches. If someone does get a pickaxe through the throat they really show it, none of that "new hollywood horror censorship" where you see what's happening from a weird angle that doesn't show any gore.
