Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

Cop talk...check it

godabandonedme - 8-16-2006 at 10:32 PM

I can't stand most of my co-workers. Anyone older then 30 is the same as any other person in the community who doesn't understand our scene. Anyone 20-30 just listen to the radio or whatever new hot song is on get that cd. God the world sucks. But read this, it's about the fight at the First Uni...

Oh yea, amazingly there is one other cop who's into hardcore
I'm Sheer Terror

BDx13 - 8-17-2006 at 12:04 AM

this is great. i need to read through the whole thing when i'm less tired.

DaveMoral - 8-17-2006 at 12:44 AM

Way to stick up for the scene, GAM.

Squatter punks piss me off too, always have. And I hate it when those bums try to get me to give 'em some of my hard earned cash... unless they're being hilarious. This one old bum dude cracks me up everytime I see him there, always leering at the young ladies and shit. And the FSU guys just keep him going.... pure gold.

I wonder if there's going to be any trouble at This is Hardcore.... hope not, but you never know.

godabandonedme - 8-17-2006 at 02:44 AM

I so wish I could go to TIHC 2006 but I'm working 3X11

godabandonedme - 8-17-2006 at 03:01 AM

You know, I don't even go to shows that much anymore, but I do realize that when I was younger this music and scene made sooooooo much of a difference in my life. Our (fucking right yes OUR) music has probablly saved my life at certain points. Again, I'm no show promoter, in no crew, but can honestly say that this music is everything when it comes to sanity so I do take it personally when anyone tries to put it down as a fad or anything else negative for that matter. In the end, I don't care if any of the other people I work with understand or even comprehend what this is, but hopefully I, you, and everyone else involved with this scene knows how important it is to me personally and eachother individually.

clevohardcore - 8-17-2006 at 08:28 AM

I read the whole thing. That is awsome.

CR83 - 8-17-2006 at 11:20 AM

godabandonedme, awesome posts.

upyerbum - 8-17-2006 at 11:33 AM

hehe, goat youngsters. Squeegee fuckin kids fuckin shit up again. Fuck I hate bum motherfuckers who fuck up our scene and then claim oppression. If you get in a fight someone wins and someone loses. If you get in a fight with da' police you WILL lose. If you really want to piss off cops (sorry godabandondedme) RUN, fuck don't cops hate havin' to chase you.:D

godabandonedme - 8-17-2006 at 11:50 AM

BDx13 - 8-17-2006 at 12:04 PM

Seriously dude, that's some truth right there. I hate most of the kids... 90% of them, but I love the music.

I was just musing today that it feels like to me that hardcore is dead. That's right, dead. A handful of people are carrying the torch, but even some of them do some shit that fucks it up.

Like this fest.... I hate fests, hate them. I think they are part of the fuckin' problem. There's bands playing everyday of This Is Hardcore that I want to see... but I don't want to be there all fuckin' day(from what I understand there's no re-entry at this venue) and I don't want to pay 15-18 bucks a day, or 45 for the weekend.

Goddamn it!

upyerbum - 8-17-2006 at 09:27 PM

Festivals reek of hippiness. And there's the whole rival factions thing.

godabandonedme - 8-18-2006 at 05:56 AM

It just attracts more people to one venue and I'm throwing up 30 bucks says something like pointless fest happens at this, just because of the varying crowds. Get something straight, hardcore is NOT united. Kids from other cities/scenes do not give a fuck about yours.

BDx13 - 8-18-2006 at 12:49 PM

"gotta be the emo kids from Bensalem - i blame them! "

awesome.

godabandonedme - 8-18-2006 at 02:15 PM

I hate work, did want to see some of the bands, oh well.

DaveMoral - 8-18-2006 at 04:58 PM

Yeah, hardcore is far from united. And still... everyone, even tough guys, sing about it. Funny huh?

Between thugs and posi kids hardcore is in the shithouse.

godabandonedme - 8-21-2006 at 03:05 AM

God I fucking hate retarted people older then 30. Check the thread I listed again.

upyerbum - 8-21-2006 at 07:19 AM

That last guy is exactly like all the cops I grew up with. (there were a few cool ones) I'm curious godabandondedme, what made you decide to become a cop? Not to put you on the spot. We need more cops who can tell the difference between a real bad guy and someone in bad circumstances.

godabandonedme - 8-21-2006 at 01:47 PM

I passed the test..........seriously.
