Any of you guys into this cartoon? I borrowed the first season from a friend of mine and have been having a hard time getting into it.
I did however get the first season of Insepctor Gadget and also started renting the entire Astro Boy series. Which are both damn classic to me.
Some of you dudes are older then me, so any 70's cartoons fans here? I used to watch a bunch of them on cartoon network. I really liked the Godzilla
cartoon, which I believe was from the 70's. I also really dug the Herculoids, Birdman, Space Ghost and cartoons of that sort. Although I think those
may have been for the 60's.
I'm basically just a nut for cartoons. I don't even have kids and 9 out of 10 movies or boxed sets I buy are cartoons. Any fellow toon lovers here?barc0debaby - 8-18-2006 at 11:45 PM
I love the boondocks, one of my favorite television shows.XnMeX - 8-19-2006 at 07:55 AM

I love the Boondocks... and Birdman and Space Ghost are great. I was just looking at a modern take on Space Ghost that DC put out in a TPB format...
good stuff. I also like Adult Swim's goofs with Space Ghost and Birdman. Space Ghost Coast to Coast and Harvey Birdman Attorney At Law. Great shows.defstarsteve - 8-19-2006 at 12:45 PM

GI Joe all the way baby.Unbound - 8-19-2006 at 03:40 PM
It is funny you mentioned Alivin and the Chimpunks, because I loved The Chipmunk Adventure when I was a kid and I just picked it up on DVD recently.
GI Joe was of course a favorite of mine as well. I always mean to pick up the movie on dvd when I see it but it is usually super expensive.
I think that wrestling cartoon was called Hulk Hogan's Rock n' Roll Wrestling, but I might be mistaken.
Any of you remember pro stars? That was a fairly good cartoon. I really liked Centurians as well. Swat Cats was really good too.
I love how all of the old hanna barbara cartoons are coming out on dvd now. I might just have to pick up the Hong Kong Phooey boxed set one of these
days.DaveMoral - 8-19-2006 at 04:33 PM
Yeah, Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n Roll Wrestling was it... that show was awesome.
I saw volumes 1 and 2 of the original Godzilla cartoon series at Borders today.
Anyone remember The Real Ghostbusters??? I loved that show. I was such a Ghostbusters freak for a longtime... We made a homemade 8 minute Ghostbusters
short when I was 8... I was Ray Stantz because I was shorter than my friend that played Peter.XHonusWagnerX - 8-19-2006 at 06:03 PM
Cartoon party at Voodoo's house! Hes got the best taste or all!

Enough said!Unbound - 8-19-2006 at 06:15 PM
Haha, this thread is awesome and making me think of so many cartoons I used to watch. I actually liked some pretty unmanly cartoons make in the day
for some reason. I really like Pound Puppies, and Shirt Tails.
Any of you guys remember Mask? I had a ton of those figures. Same as Voltron.
Here is one that has been stumping me for a long time now. There was a cartoon proably around 1985-1986 and the charachters were actually food items,
but they were also soldiers. There was a burger with a bullet belt around him and a gun, and I completely forget what they were called. Anyone else
remember that?
There are a ton of cool cartoons. Hair Bear Bunch, Snagglepuss, Shazam, Speed Buggy, Scooby Doo Movies and tons more.
The Dungeons and Dragons cartoons are actually coming out on dvd soon. I forget the exact date but it is later this year.Unbound - 8-19-2006 at 06:17 PM
Here is a good site for cartoons, I'm pretty sure they are bootlegs but you won't find these anywhere else really and official releases are probably
never going to happen for most.tireironsaint - 8-19-2006 at 07:07 PM
I lived for cartoons as a kid. I loved the old Ralph Bakshi Mighty Mouse, all those old (and very un-PC) Warner Brothers cartoons, Herculoids was
great (anybody catch the little Herculoids reference on that one episode of Family Guy where they were hiring a babysitter?), Superfriends, and some
other random stuff. As I got older I got into the weirder stuff, gotta love John K's cartoons, especially the early Ren & Stimpy (before they kicked
him off his own show!). I'm really disappointed with the state of kids cartoons nowadays.upyerbum - 8-19-2006 at 07:54 PM
Remember the Grape Ape? Rocket Robin Hood?
I'm a sucker for Loony Tunes too.Voodoobillyman - 8-19-2006 at 08:26 PM

I used to fucking love Rocket Robin Hood. The old Hercules cartoon as well.
Thinking of Alvin and the Chipmunks, does anybody remember the episode where they became the Chip-punks?barc0debaby - 8-19-2006 at 10:29 PM
This pictures looks so wrong... DaveMoral - 8-19-2006 at 10:52 PM
Mask was awesome.... I had a bunch of those and my friend had a bunch. I think I had the Boulder Hill playset... the Mask base. I actually wrote to
the toy company(yes, I remember the manufacturer... it was Kenner, now Hasbro. Producers of almost all Batman and other DC related action figures and
all Star Wars figs) to get replacement bombs for my flying Camaro toy! Some of the guys are still hiding in my parents' place actually.
D&D is currently being shown on Toon Disney.DaveMoral - 8-19-2006 at 10:52 PM
