Well, Big D, now that you mention it, I might swing by the record store when it opens to see what what was released today, and then proceed to give myself whiplash while listening to the GREATEST fucking non-metal/metal band in the known Universe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Behold, the king of kings, kneel down to the KING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! new MOTORHEAD right now people!!!!!!!!!! Go buy it, or remain dumb, your choice.

CR83 - 8-29-2006 at 08:49 AM

You have convinced me to get it now. Damn you voodoo :D:D

upyerbum - 8-29-2006 at 08:49 AM

Lunchtime, I'll be listening to it by five after 12.

Voodoobillyman - 8-29-2006 at 09:56 AM

I foresee a Motorhead thread at some point today with lots of reviewing and opinions and such. I can already see it now, words like, amazing, spectacular, stupendous, awesome.........etc. I'm off to get mine in exactly 35 minutes. Can't wait.

upyerbum - 8-29-2006 at 10:35 AM

25 minutes.........

Jason the Magnificent - 8-29-2006 at 12:31 PM

This is the most excited I've seen anyone for Motorhead in ages.

Hope you aren't disappointed. It's not a bad album, a bit more stripped down as I've said, kinda like a "new" Motorhead version of the Rock'N'Roll album. That being said, there isn't a single Motorhead album past 1916 that's gotten more than a handfull of listens from me. The following albums weren't bad albums, just incredibly mediocre when compared with the rest of the back catalogue. There really isn't much memorable about them.

i agree with this 100%

Jason the Magnificent - 8-29-2006 at 12:39 PM

I still haven't stopped picking them up though, haha...theres always hope, I think I just expect the worst now. I was pleasantly surprised by this newer one, but I've had it for about a month and if I think about it...I don't think listened to it for more than a couple days.

upyerbum - 8-29-2006 at 01:20 PM

Actually I've been nothing but impressed with the last two. I'm listening to "KIss of Death" as we speak.

JawnDiablo - 8-29-2006 at 02:52 PM

I don't have any Motorhead releases after Orgasmatron which I bought around the time it came out. I had Rock n Roll, No Sleep At All and 1916, but traded them in because there really wasn't much great stuff on them. I'll have to give the new stuff a listen.

upyerbum - 8-29-2006 at 02:58 PM

Christine.

Voodoobillyman - 8-29-2006 at 03:05 PM

ALL MOTORHEAD ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the new one but havent listened to it, as I have some more exciting news. In about 20 minutes I am going to the dealership to buy a new truck. Been wanting one for 2 years now and it's time to take the plunge. 2006 Ford F-150 extended cab. Loan is approved all Ihave to do is go pick one. So now I am going to christen (sp?) the new truck with the new Motorhead. Today is a good fuckin day!!!!!!!! I will update later. As far as you who have no interest and think the work after 1916 is mediocre, your entitled to your opinion and all, but your out of your fuckin skulls. Love , VoodooB

BDx13 - 8-29-2006 at 04:42 PM

dude, you're gonna explode.

barc0debaby - 8-29-2006 at 04:55 PM

I went down to Wherehouse music to pick it up, but they didn't have it.

upyerbum - 8-29-2006 at 06:08 PM

Voodoo's gone insane and is haulin' ass across a desert somewhere in a brand new truck with "Kiss of Death" blastin'. Cackling maniacally. Drinking a bottle of Johnny Walker. Smokin a big cigar.

Voodoobillyman - 8-30-2006 at 11:50 AM

I picked it up for 13.99 at planet music and it is worth EVERY penny. I love it and you should too! The F-150 is sweeeeeeet, my wife and I are both very happy with it. My little girl even smiled and squeeled when we put her in it for the first time............the ladies dig it, so I guess it's a keeper. I did get to listen to the new Motorhead to break in the stereo too which was cool.

upyerbum - 8-30-2006 at 12:03 PM

New Motorhead in a new truck, does life get any sweeter?
