XHonusWagnerX - 8-30-2006 at 02:16 PM

HUGE RECORD COLLECTION ON EBAY!

Its not mine, but there is so much that I figured some of you would be interested in seeing it. Its everything from Jazz to hardcore! Zines, Books, LPs, 7"s, test pressings....

a full Slumlords collection, Original 'Let them eat Jellybeans' comp LP. Lots of rare B9 stuff and more!

Its Pat from FNS Records (Boston) thats selling all his stuff because aparently hes moving to California and needs cash. Its definitly worth browsing through!

clevohardcore - 8-30-2006 at 02:22 PM

the HALF LIFE and GOVERNMENT ISSUE would be sweet to have but I swore off the vinyl after the flood.

BDx13 - 8-30-2006 at 02:59 PM

impressive stuff, but nothing i'm really interested in.

honus, what's the deal with this live slapshot...
http://cgi.ebay.com/7-Slapshot-Live-on-New-England-Product-B...

Jason the Magnificent - 8-30-2006 at 04:05 PM

Thats nowhere near close to the full slumlords collection, theres about 5 more 12"s and 10 more 7"s.

I need to stay out of those auctions, that stuff will get me in trouble.

It was recorded live on WFNX in Boston and Bridge 9 pressed it as a 7". The only way to get the 7" was if you preordered the Slapshot 'Digital Warfare' LP and the Some Kind of Hate 'Undispited' LP when they came out. The 7" is limited to 500 all on black and there were 10 Test Presses made.

Jason the Magnificent - 8-30-2006 at 05:58 PM

kind of a crappy picture....

Discipline - 8-30-2006 at 06:04 PM

Damn. I didn't know there was THAT much Slumlords stuff out there.

BDx13 - 8-30-2006 at 06:42 PM

i love how this dude has no real description of the item other than the title and a pic.

i might bid on that slappy record. how many of the clear tear it down records were pressed, honus? i may go for that as well.

Jason the Magnificent - 8-30-2006 at 06:44 PM

Theres actually probably about 3 more LP's I dont have and a few 7's...same releases just different colors....and about 12 more cdr type things. I really dont care about record collecting, I buy releases on both but I'm not all gung ho about press info and stuff like that, but I kinda went nuts with the slumlords stuff just for the hell of it.

The Live 7" is cool and they don't pop up on ebay all the time anymore. It will probably sell pretty cheap though.

The Tear it Down clear/clear double 7" is limited to 91.

Discipline - 8-30-2006 at 08:20 PM

I got that live 7" off of ebay a few months back for 2 bucks. I didn't realize there were only 500 made.

BDx13 - 8-30-2006 at 08:33 PM

holy no love for slapshot.

XHonusWagnerX - 8-30-2006 at 08:58 PM

The Tear it Down 7" was pressed like this....

black/black 550
red/gold 350
clear/clear 91
pink/yellow 9

The pink/yellow are just the transition from the red/gold to the clear/clear with a little colro left in the vinyl. So originally there was supose to be 100 clear/clear.

FNSRecords - 9-5-2006 at 10:17 PM

Hey thanks so much for posting this! That was wicked nice. There are some good records up and man, it kills me to get rid of any record...but times are tough.

That Slumlords collection looks great. I cant believe people actually collect the reversed "PVR <3 SLUMLORDS" sleeves. ...wierd.

Why is that any wierder than having ANY different version of an album than the main one? People collect albums with different text on the vinyl matrix...

I pulled in a cool 2K. Not quite all I need (plane Ticket, shipping, move in, ect...) but it totally helped. Thanks anyone who bid!

BDx13 - 9-7-2006 at 10:46 AM

Discipline - 9-7-2006 at 01:04 PM

haha nice. I almost bid on the Bruce Campbell boook. Im glad I didnt cause it might have just run the price up for you.

Jason the Magnificent - 9-7-2006 at 01:34 PM

Its just another version of the 1st album. Perfect victim released it when Rocket Punch was sitting on the records due to not having the covers, shortly afterwards RP finally sent out theirs with the one color screen printed covers.

Oddly enough with all those different versions of one album, no one ever decided to just do a full color version with the cover art.

moron - 9-7-2006 at 02:25 PM

Ive got nothing near a complete Slumlords collectiong, but I have that PVR version, the Rocket Punch Records version, two picture discs and maybe one other version. I'd have to check my list. Pretty amazing how many versions there are, but that doesnt beat the Have Heart - What Counts 7". That shit much have 20 or more versions and I have almost all of them!

I LOVE IT and it DRIVES ME NUTS at the same time when there are multiple versions of a record that I'm really into. I always want them all, but I get so frantic trying to find them!

I'll try to take a picture at some point. Probably wont happen tonight since I have company coming over tomorrow. Gotta clean up the mess in the apartment!
