I read something about this a couple of days ago and it sounds pretty promising with the straight to dvd and all that. Actually it's pretty promising as long as it's Romero (with the exception of the shitstorm that goes under then name Land of the Dead).

I have no idea who this is.

George Romero is the director of the Night of the living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead and Land of the Dead. He also directed Stephen Kings Creepshow as well as other less known films. He is the godfather of all that is Zombie in our culture.

I'm really interested in this... and zombies freak me the fuck out.

My personal favorite zombie film is the great spoof... Shaun of the Dead.

Its not really a zombie movie but "The Serpent and the Rainbow" is fucked. This sounds really fuckin cool though. I think I'm gonna go on a zombie movie kick. I was really into the whole Romero zombie thing as a teen, I think this will give me an oppurtunity to revisit that. I like the whole premise too.

Not dissing, but zombies are like bigfoot. Everyone wants to see them, but seriously. Come on. Watch something entertaining like porn.

I'd rather participate in that sort of activity. See zombies are fantasy/horror/fun. But why watch someone else fuck when I could be balls deep?

The ultimate homage to Romeros genre. I love this flick too, saw it in the theatre 3 times and bought it the day it came out on DVD. Interesting sidenote, the day it came out in the theatre was the same day my wife and I conceived. We put the ticket stub in her baby book to show what else we did that day. We also bought our Halloween pumpkin that day. Sex, pumpkin shopping and horror flicks.

I thought you'd get a kick out of this Voodoo. Every year around the beginning of September the punks and metalheads around town here have Zombie Day. You basically dress up like zombies and stagger around the city in large groups. Heres a pic from last week.
