hey hows it goin? I've been listening to Paint The Town Red for about a year now since there first cd came out and Im just wondering how come theres
still not a lot of people that are into them.seriously if u have enough money to go spend on a cd go buy home is where the hate is by pttr. its such a
badass cd. I mean have u seen the bands they've toured with. Its like a 5 star roster.and hey whens the new RAMALLAH cd coming out.that'll be a good
one to buy.brooklyn - 1-25-2005 at 08:12 AM
PTTR is average.
There is a good chance that Ramallah will be THE album 0f 2005 (with Far From Finished a very close 2nd)BDx13 - 1-25-2005 at 09:12 AM
i've been enjoying the pttr cd since i first got it. i just don't think many people in the states have heard them yet. so there's another
question... had you heard of PTTR before we announced their release?
also... TR58 RAMALLAH "Kill A Celebrity" (May 31st)newbreedbrian - 1-25-2005 at 10:08 AM

I'd never heard of PTTR before. How does Thorp find bands anyway?rebel911 - 1-25-2005 at 02:03 PM
well i first seen there name on that converge-jane doe poster.their euro tour.so I checked them out on join the team player records. they had there
album "last gang in town" and really liked what I heard. I mean at least people are giving them a chance. I usually check out a couple of songs from a
band that I don't know and if I like it I'll buy there cd if I don't I move on. glad to see them on a great label though. and is thorp gonna
re-release there last two records or is there a possible vinyl in the process.thanksBDx13 - 1-25-2005 at 02:55 PM
rebel - is it safe to assume you live in europe?
as far as i know, we have no plan to rerelease the earlier albums, or do a vinyl version.rebel911 - 1-25-2005 at 07:00 PM
u would think so but Im actually from Californai crazy I should be listening to the beach boys and not songs that tell me to go after the white
house.but its catchy.whats ur favorite song on the album.its kinda hard for me but I tend to listen to 'the fighting years'more and more. oh and the
band has a hope conspiracy sound to it.BDx13 - 1-25-2005 at 08:10 PM
well, first off, rebel, welcome to the thorp board.
so you live in cali, but first heard of PTTR on a European tour poster? awesome. yeah, now that you mention it, i'd say there is a similarity
between their sound and the hope conspiracy.... which is one of my absolute favorite active bands.moron - 1-25-2005 at 08:24 PM
from the clip I heard, I definately hear the hope conspiracy. That band fucking rips. I want a new album. Supposedly theyre working on it, but the
singer is doing Bars now... who I still havent heard.BDx13 - 1-25-2005 at 08:37 PM

Really.... interesting. Good info, moron. Who else is in that band, do you know? Anyone have any idea where we can get some more info?moron - 1-25-2005 at 08:42 PM
Bars has some ex-suicide file members. I have no idea what their names are. Their album was released on Equal Vision Records.
I guess now's a good time to listen to their mp3 since Im linking them up for you. Ive heard people say they sound like a mix of the suicide file and
the hope conspiracy. Who would have thought....rebel911 - 1-25-2005 at 10:44 PM
well I bought the BARS-introducing....album its a real good cd. I first bought it cause kevin is the singer so it sounds like new hope conspiracy
material and the band members are ex-suicide file and give up the ghost. it sounds more rock n roll but with a kick. listen to 'up to my neck' and
you'll be hooked
