There have been sightings on HR around Woodstock and NYC over the past 3 weeks. Some of you saw him at The Delancey with Funkface (in pic), and at CBGB's playing a few songs on his guitar before Gorilla Biscuit. Well on October 9th & 10th the original Bad Brains with HR, Doc, Earl and Darryl will be playing CBGB's b/4 the doors shut!!. NO SHIT!!. So all Tri-state Brainhedz fasten your seatbelts.......
tickets are $40 and going on sale this Sunday at 12PM EST on ticketweb.com

I'll be honest guys, I'm just not a Bad Brains fan. I'm yet to hear anything that made me move I guess. I have only heard part os "pay to cum". Just doesn't do it for me.

chris, you really gotta listen to their live shit. some of the tracks are SO fast and SO fuckin' hyper, it continues to blow my mind to this day. i had the great fortune of seeing them live before i had every really listened to their albums. it was a small club (revival, philly heads), packed to the rafters (we literally spent half the show stuck in the vestibule), and we were probably the youngest people there (i think i was a freshman in HS). it was like a tornado, bodies were flying everywhere.

somebody send chris a ysi of 'the youth are getting restless' please. or a video of a live set.

a friend of mine got high with one of the bad brains on the revival steps at that show....
i dont know what is in the old revival location these days
