Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

I'm giving away some more free shit.

BDx13 - 9-22-2006 at 12:02 PM

I've giving away four CDs. I don't know how excited you'll be about these, but they're free, so fuck it. Three of them are the original pressing of releases we later licensed and released.

Lemme know which ya want. One per person, please.

Oh, and I'm throwing at least two more mystery cds in with each package. Might be good, might be crap. I dunno yet, but you gotta report back on what ya got.

  1. The Hope Conspiracy - File03 (Bridge 9. Still sealed)
  2. The Natchez Shakers - No2 (Arkam Records)
  3. Bionic - Deliverance (Sound King Records, Canada)
  4. Knuckledust - Time Won't Heal This (Blackfish Records, UK)

I have one of the nanchez shakers CD's (shaker hymns). Is No.2 the same thing or is it different. If it is different i would love to have it.. as long as no one else has snatched it up yet.

DAK - 10-30-2006 at 07:22 PM

Hey Big D, I just got my cd's in the mail today. Thanks again. I love the knuckledust cd. I also love the Clutch cd, but I already have it. I will pay it forward and pass on to someone I know. The techno cd is interesting, just not my cup of tea. I know a girl at work that loves that stuff, so I will score some point with that cd. HA

BDx13 - 10-30-2006 at 08:10 PM

awesome. enjoy the knuckledust disc, and good idea passing along the clutch cd. the techno cd was totally a joke - did you play it? i'd imagine it was horrible. straight outta 1993! HAHAHA!! anyway, enjoy the cd, dak.

i'm looking forward to full reports from everyone else!

DAK - 10-31-2006 at 10:21 AM

Yeah I played it. Those beats drive me crazy.

clevohardcore - 10-31-2006 at 10:30 AM

Listened to my tehcno cd SAMANTHA E (or something) this morning. Good stuff. I'm motivated because of it.

BASS BASS BASS BASS. 4x4x4x4x4x4x4x4x4x4x4x4

THANKS AGAIN BD. You kick ass in every department.

BDx13 - 10-31-2006 at 11:02 AM

clevo.. FULL REPORT!
(i did send you three cds, didn't i? was the techno one, Robin S? "Rhythm Is A Dancer"!!!)

clevohardcore - 11-2-2006 at 10:25 AM

FUll report.

CLUTCH KICK ASS. Big thanks for the cd. You officially made me a fan.

THE HOPE CONSPIRACY as always are great. 2 of the songs I nver heard before. Awsome stuff. I still have to find the DEATH KNOWS YOUR NAME cd. All stores are out and revhq is always out as well. It's becoming the "mission impossible" cd

ROBIN S is the name and I am not ashamed to admit that I have listneed to this CD the most. "SHOW ME LOVE! YOU GOT TO! YOU GOT TO! YOU GOT TO! SHOW ME LOVE!"

I got to ask. Was this cd burning up space in your home or did you make a special trip to the used record store and pick up gifts for us? Because I give you BIG PROPS for sending these cds. You may have done it as a joke, but I actually like this cd. My wife is crackin on me, but I think its the "Urban" side of me. I think I was a religious black woman in a past life.

PEACE OUT!

BDx13 - 11-2-2006 at 11:09 AM

wow, you're down with them all, that's awesome! hope con, obviously. clutch is a great band with a sound in line with what most of us here listen to, so i figured it was a safe addition. but the third was pretty much a joke. and yes, it was on my shelf!

as for robin s...
that first track, "Show Me Love", was the JAM back in my mid-90s club days. My dancefloor moves were so potent, that by the end of that song, the ladies were lining up for the big guy. HAHAHA!!

clevohardcore - 11-3-2006 at 09:00 AM

I remeber going to some techno clubs around clevo with a few hotties and being an underage drinker. Smokin some weeds and whatever. I remeber the song along with L.A. STYLE, My life with the Thrill Kill Kult and early MOBY shit. Back in the day the raves and clubs brought all kinds of hotties out. I don't give a fuck about saying this either I had a great time back then at those places.

BDx13 - 11-12-2006 at 06:33 PM

canadians?

DeathByForce - 11-13-2006 at 03:50 AM

I just picked up my package friday.

I'll report back tomorrow when I give the other two cd's a listen!

DeathByForce - 11-13-2006 at 10:24 PM

Natchez Shakers is a great cd. It was perfect listening to it. It's such a perfect blend of folk and almost celtic music. It's like an Americanized Pogues.

This Prodigy cd is absolutely odd. I can't really and never have really understood the popularity behind this stuff. It sounds good on my woofer but that's about it haha.

Kittie. Oh Kittie. That cd brought back some serious memories....

Discipline - 11-14-2006 at 12:21 AM

Kittie is as bad as Good Charloote.

clevohardcore - 11-14-2006 at 12:41 PM

the black chick in Kitty is hot. Annoying but hot. She is with dude from Biohazard now I heard.
