Gooch - 10-13-2006 at 11:55 AM

Either the Swiz s/t Lp or Soulside's "Trigger" Lp.

We're talking about Sammich Records, right?

Sliced turkey, cheddar cheese and bacon. You grill it, but mix parmesan cheese with the butter before you spread it. mmmmm....

upyerbum - 10-13-2006 at 07:58 PM

A Montreal smoked meat sandwich kicks some ass too, if you buy it in Montreal.
mmmmmm....pickles.....

Voodoobillyman - 10-13-2006 at 08:01 PM

Gyros in the Med countries rule too! Don't ask what they have in em though.

upyerbum - 10-13-2006 at 08:04 PM

When I was in the Balkans we used to get these pita things with these mystery meatball things in them and this sauce, the y were fuckin good but I never asked what was in them.
(for a reason)

godabandonedme - 10-14-2006 at 04:19 PM

Cajun turkey, pepper jack cheese, special cajun mayo (this one place I go to in east falls makes it) lettuce an a little balsalmic, spicy mustard as well.

The First England Special Cheesesteak (pizza place around here) cheesesteak w/peppers, onions, sauce(gravy actually) prov, parm, pepporoni, mushrooms, hot peppers. (Usually minus the pepporoni + mushrooms)

damn these are some killer soundin sammiches right here...

DaveMoral - 10-14-2006 at 06:13 PM

For me it's usually the "Fighting Dog Italiano" at Gianna's Grille. It's technically blasphemy to all cheesesteak lovers because it's vegan, but it's a nice approxamation for those of us who are repulsed my the meat.

Consists of mock chicken, mock pork, soy cheese, fresh garlic and spiniach or broccoli rabe.

JawnDiablo - 10-14-2006 at 06:56 PM

broccoli rabe is great stuff...

godabandonedme - 10-14-2006 at 08:02 PM

I also like the thanksgiving sandwhich at Bassest's Original Turkey: Fresh cut roast turkey, stuffing, and crandberry on thick rye bread.
