Remember that feeling when you'd get a new piece of vinyl home. You'd open the album and there'd be that smell, then you'd put it on the turntable and faithfully read every word of the insert whilw you dubbed ti to cassette. Heaven.

The absolute best thing. Skipping school on a Tuesday for new release day when something really good was coming out. I had to be there to get it when the store opened.

Haha I had a pretty good collection of cassettes! Bruce Springsteen, Video Hits, Rock 88 and a bunch of other comps. Bon Jovi & Kris Kross tapes, GnR's appetite & Extreme too. Those were great.

godabandonedme - 10-23-2006 at 09:12 PM

Damn I had the pistol version of that rubber band gun. I always wanted the rifle version.

Spoiler - 10-26-2006 at 01:28 PM

in NC,there used to be a radio show called "The Metal Shop"....it would come on late saturday night.. and me and my 2 friends would gang around the jam box like Wayne and Garth, and listen to every single song they played...this is where I first heard SOIA just look around.
