Complain about work thread

everyone who works... complain about your job here. Everybody's got something they dont like about their job.

I'll start, and this might get kinda long. we'll see...

Im a supervisor, and I dont have my own office. My coworkers are nice enough, but I sit near one who is a perpetual talker. If she's not on the phone, talking to me or the other girl near us she's talking to herself, singing to herself or humming to herself. At least 3 or 4 times a day she'll try to start talking to me when it's obvious that Im trying to concentrate on my work. Half the time she's talking to me and I just ignore her, but if she sees Im not listening she'll poke me or something to get my attention.

Same coworker... her cell phone is constantly ringing. It's ringing as I type this in fact. It's either her kids or her fiance. I think her phone rings at least once or twice an hour.

Another coworker.... she's dumb as shit. Nice person and everything, but she can make or break a day for me. It seems like NO information gets retained in her brain. Im not the most unorganized person in the world, but she's got sticky notes all over the fucking place with names, reminders, directions on how to use the computer system. I supervise her, so it's a nightmare because she cant even remember the regulations of our program (Im a social worker who helps seniors get homecare) so she ends up promising stuff to people who aren't even eligible for our program.

Our interns.... they do nothing. ABSOLUTELY nothing. I see them playing Tetris or Solitaire all day, and then they have the nerve to tell me how to do my job. Then you do your fucking job first asshole!

i work at target

there are different levels of bosses. there are "team leads" (my immediate boss, there are a bunch for every department of the store), "leaders on duty" (their bosses, also divided up by department), "gstl" (boss of guest services and cashiers), and an "stl" (boss of everyone)

the team leads hate teenagers, which doesn't really work out when all of the sales associates are kids. they disapprove of us building friendships with other kids we work with. a girl and i become good friends and they moved us to opposite ends of the store.

the lod's are the worst of all. i was joking around with one of them, one who had never given me a problem, and she took me to her office to discuss my being disrespectful. because of something we both knew was a joke.

i could go on forever. but, no one wants to read that. and i'm still 12 and don't even have a REAL job to complain about.

at any rate, I worked in retail for 3 years at CVS and it sounds nothing like what youre describing. I mean... forget friendships. I dated my boss!

I do two things for this company, i am a Secretary and a contractor (asst.). Depending on what the weather is like decides if im in the office or on a job.
The office is in my house so the work never ends...

I work at wal-mart and yea it sucks at times. But I work overnights stocking the electronics department. So basically I get to stock cool stuff and listen to whatever I want. I was cranking Slapshot and The Boils the other night. It was great. I like watching the peoples expressions when they walk by the department when I'm listening to heavier stuff. They must think I worship the devil or something! Nothing like hearing Fuck New York at Wal-Mart though!

my work caught on fire last night so i had off today and maybe tomorrow..it was a nice unexpected holiday...i work for a pharmaceutical company who does clinical work for all the big outfits like Pfizer and GSk and so on...i used to like it, but now i hate it...i wish more of it burned

Let me just say this... without going into detail.
HUGE.... BLACK... NIPPLES... this lady came in... she was just some normal lady with.. ugh.. i cant even go on.
Then the Tattooist im worrking with... just likes to start shit with me all da long just to pass the time. so we cal each other fags, and talk about how he/ we smoke pole... and then he turns on shitty mexican reggeton, just tp annoy everyone. hes a bastard. He almost busted out my ear drum yesterday while i was tattooing some dude, had the radio full blast, just to annoy me, and then proceded to yell in my ear about how much i suck at tattooing and how im fucking shit up.
I love my job though.

that's about how many bosses I have and everyone wants their fucking shirts right now, while your suppliers have decided to ship your boxes to Texas instead of Penn....and then work from 7am till 1 am everyday because it's always here, 7 days a week, and the people still want their shit, even though they knew they were going on tour, a month ago but wait until 4 days before they leave to decide they need merch, and expect you to deliver with out a problem the day before.... but your shipping company who says they will deliver in 2 days drops the ball and leaves your package god knows where and it arrives 2 days late, and then your employees decide to get drunk and not show up for work....and the wife and kids want you to not work so much, but have no problem spending more money ten the donald can make in a month and don't understand how an investment in more equipment can save money down the road...anyone want to sell out and play horrible music and get filthy fucking rich?

i am in the marines but i'm getting the boot cause i lost my mind... so now i do nothing... at least i still get paid though!

the only complaint i have is that i don't do anything and they still have me come in... i sit on the computer and talk shit on forums all day...

i'm so bored!

yeah, i was thinking about joining the military. I dont like the idea of hurting people, but there is something cool about knowing how to fire a rifle and working with all the high tech stuff they got.

and the military is dumb... if you want to work with high tech stuff and not hurt anyone then you should join the air force... it's the only branch you don't kill people in and you actually work with high tech stuff.
