A little perspective

So tonight I was feeling a little down about things going on. Pissed about what I missed out on, my mistakes and what little I have made of myself. Thing is I have a million and one things to be proud of. I won't get into them because they do not relate to this lame thing myspace.

While reflecting on memories and ripping some cd's to my computer. I busted out UNBROKEN and the cd LIFE. LOVE. REGRET. Damn that is one heavy cd. It still holds its weight after nearly 12 years. In fact it seems heavier. Anyway, reading the lyrics it got to me a little. I started to get a little melancholy.

Thinking this is not me. The cd ripped and I put it away. I hit PLAY on the media player because I wanted to jam it out without the drama of the lyrics and BAM! Perspective. The player was on random and SHEER TERROR "Time don't heal a thing" plays.

I know this is fucking stupid to blog, but I have to quit waiting. Expecting things to just happen. I go to rise the fuck up. The past is over. It's fucking done. I can't live in it. It's gone. Love and hate it, it's done.

O man thanks for the words.

I forgot I put this here. I was bummin that night. I hadn't listened to that cd in ages. I mean like probably 8 or 9 years. Fuckin UNBROKEN cd got me thinking of the past like I never left it. That combined with not achieving what I wanted or even set out to do.
