What are peoples thoughts on this band and album, i was not at all dissapointed

Voodoobillyman - 11-28-2006 at 10:12 AM

I didn't care for the last album much so I've pretty much ignored this new one.

Ive actually only listened to it once since I bought it. It was good, but it was no Jane Doe. Maybe I'll warm up to it later.

never got into converge. or dillinger escape plan or anything else in that vein really. too spasmodic.

rubbish on all fronts. hate the band and can't even get through one song on that new album. None the less, a lot of people seem to like this band so I wish them all the luck in the world.

MM.

I think the song that got me hooked on Converge was The Saddest Day. Of course they didnt play anything before Jane Doe when I saw them open for Mastodon a few months ago. Bummer. I think theyre playing some older songs on their current tour though.

the new album surprised me in that i actually liked one or two songs. unlike the previous album. i still like their first one best, caring and killing. the riffs have just gotten so predictable on their later work.
