So I got into a small fight with my manager at work today. She's two years older than me, and although she knows OF the punk/hardcore scene, don't expect to see her on top of any mic piles any time soon. She got me real fuckin' heated today when she tried to tell me that Atreyu and Killswitch Engage are hardcore. She wouldn't listen to me that they weren't and I said who considers them that, the record companies? Yes, apparantly. So I guess she takes their word. I told her to try and take that attitude over to the Lower East Side where she'll get her teeth kicked in by another chick for that. Yeah, I know that I probably sound like a toughguy/meathead for saying that, but she had me pretty damn pissed off today.

As a side note, they have So Common So Cheap on their myspace site right now. I love that tune.............I love all BfB tunes. "You were so common you were so cheap, anothah coke snortin slut from the barroom scene." ahhhhhhhh memories. I played that tune for my wife when we had first met, it was right around the time that album came out and she actually liked it. Thats why I married her

When people ask me what music I'm into I just tell them "good music". If they start naming off bands and asking if I like them, my usual answer is "no, I said GOOD music". After a few rounds of that they almost always give up.
