She knows she is being marketed this way and that puts ALOT of the responsibility on her. As an "adult" she should be trying to maintain a positive image for young ladies since her spotlight loving ass is in the position she is. She just chooses to act the way she does knowing that young girls who don't know any better look up to her. I wish beyond wishes we as a society could reprioritize ourselves. We put WAY too much weight into our celebrities, pro athletes, media outlets and now it has come to collect and poisoned the masses of meatheads I have to face every day. As for Lohan, I wish her eating disorder would do us all a favor and finally take her life.

but at the same time, for some companies, that's part of what companies look for in a model or spokesperson - controversy. look at how kate moss got dropped by half her sponsors when that cocaine story broke, and how she picked up higher paying ones after the fact.

This is absolutely true and further reinforces my point on American society priorities. Disgusting at best. I still blame the spokesperson as much as the company for their actions.
