I really cant get out of this depression

XHonusWagnerX - 1-2-2007 at 04:20 PM

Its been over a year now and I cant get out of this. I really dont know what to do, but I dont see 'the light at the end of the tunnel'... hell... I dont even seen an end to the tunnel.

I goto 2 different doctors and I take meds (which have been changed multiple times). Everything just sucks... pills are not going to fix that!

Fuck Life... Fuck the World... Fuck it All!

i was on meds for awhile a couple years back , i found that they did help me abit, just hang in there, it'll turn around, the holiday season doesnt help either, its either good for lifting spirts or to sink people down.

try not to let it get to you, i found if i kept busy and kept my mind off of things it helped.

this is my third time ive been diagnosed as 'clinically depressed'. im on pills and i see a shrink to 'talk' about shit. i have good days and bad days but nothing in-between.

my family helps alot but sometimes i need to get away.

cant really give you any advice as i dont know how to deal with this shit but just remember that there is a just as fucked up person on here to get depressed with.

hang in there fella

And with martial arts you get to whale on shit and get out all that frustration and rage at the same time.

Honus I know exactly how you feel. I've been battleing depression my whole life. It didnt get really bad until 2001 up until 04. Im still on medication for my depression but the best thing for me was having someone to talk to about my problems and how I could go about fixing them in a productive way. Also I did my own research on my condition and bought some books on depression and cognative theropy which is the method of changing your thought process so you're not always thinking so negativly. It feels very rewarding when you help yourself instead of relying on everyone else to fix your problems. Staying active (for me doing weightlifting) helped alot also.
