Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

Yuengling App.

Most people in PA know how cost effective this fine nectar is. 16 bucks for 24 pack of fine quality lager, can't beat it. And at most bars if you're not drinking miller lite, it's the only good beer for $3. Cheers to the lager.

hell yeah!
extra cheers from me to Yuengling's Lord Chesterfield Ale!

Kid Ugly - 1-6-2007 at 08:23 PM

At Club Deep in Asbury Park, it's $2/draft.

I hope they make it possible like STRAUB has done. They need to distribute it in CLEVO bars. STRAUB did it so why can't Yuengling?

Ive been enjoying "312" lately which is a special brew from Goose Island brewery in Chicago. Its an "urban wheat ale" I have no idea what that means...but its amazing.

I fuckin love ying ling

I love wheat ale. Anyone ever have Hoegarden? It's a Belguim Wheat Ale with a cloudy tint to it. Expensive but delicious and gets you mangled.

JawnDiablo - 1-7-2007 at 03:06 AM

Hoegarden is one of my favorites

yeah

BDx13 - 1-7-2007 at 12:55 PM

america's oldest brewery.

Yuengling actually had pretty wide distribution like decades ago, but then stopped doing it. couldn't keep up. it's only within the past 10 years that they started expanding again.

JawnDiablo - 1-7-2007 at 12:59 PM

they play something for them on the local acces channel once in a while with a history and tour of the plant.
i was going to visit it eventually
its about 100 miles from here i think

crazyfists28 - 1-7-2007 at 03:12 PM

I used to love Yuengling until a friend of mine introduced me to Lionshead. It's made in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area and is a touch lighter than Yuengling but still has a pretty good flavor. Plus it's only $10.32 a case around here. Even better, there are pictograms on the bottom of each cap. Nothing says fun like getting ripped with your friends and trying to figure out puzzles.

JawnDiablo - 1-7-2007 at 08:34 PM

i had a case of lions head a few weeks ago.
good bargain!

If you don't mind me asking, how much does a case run you in the Phila. area?

JawnDiablo - 1-7-2007 at 09:08 PM

it was around $11 give or take a cent or 2

Siczine.com - 1-7-2007 at 10:24 PM

Same here. Lionshead is definitely good for a heavy night of drinking on a cheap budget. The pictograms get a little more difficult after drinking 12 of those babies.

Hell, after a few I can barely tell what the pictures are, let alone what they mean.

If you like wheat beer, check out "Paulaner". Its a German brew, DO NOT drink it out of the bottle.
