Im having some problems with my resolutions. Quiting smoking is alot harder then I thought, even with the patch and I want to stop using any type of
drug but found myself snorting codine this afternoon which really put a damper on my day. Tonight I did resist pot, codine and cocain so im proud of
myself for that but I wish I had the motivation to stay on track. How do you people do it? Do you get down on yourself if you slip up?CR83 - 1-8-2007 at 11:58 AM
Never beat yourself up. You are human.
What keeps me motivated? I gave my word to people. That means a tremendous amount to me. I also want to lead by example. I never tell anyone what
to do. They just see me do it. That is also important to me. I also know in the long run I'll be better for sticking to this.
Deep down though, I am proud of myslef for being disciplined and tough. I'm tough on myself but I'm realistic. I have reached goals in the past and
the payoff is awesome. Focus on the payoff and the small steps it takes to get there.
As goofy as it sounds, I want to keep my word to the group on this board. You all are my peers and I need to hold up my end.
Hang tough. You can do it. I also use TONS of music. All day, every day.BDx13 - 1-8-2007 at 12:47 PM

I complain about wanting to get in shape and never follow through. Only thing I have healthy in my life is my edge..................

I'm still stuck at the same weight. I managed to lose 30 pounds, but I haven't been able to lose any more. For health reasons I really need to drop
another 50.Kid Ugly - 2-3-2007 at 02:16 AM
Ironically, getting discouraged sometimes is my best motivator. If I don't like the way things are coming along, it just pushes to me to get up and
train like a motherfucker.BDx13 - 2-3-2007 at 11:15 AM
i think it's great you dropped that 30; i'm jealous.
i lost 20 or 25 last year, but about 10 is back.
i need to exercise.Discipline - 2-4-2007 at 01:25 AM
My biggest problem is my inability to exercise. I can't even walk for more than 10 minutes before my back starts throbbing.barc0debaby - 2-17-2007 at 06:59 PM

Many things keep me going back to the gym For one it has been part of my lifestyle as long as I can remember. I am diabetic as well so I have no
choice, but to stay in good shape. I am also an athlete and need to me in top physical condition to stay on my game.
Also I have never and never will take my abeled body for granted. There are people out there with all sorts of mental and physical problems that will
inhibit them in so many daily things. I am of able mind and body and see that as a blessing and want to use my body to all its capacity.
