Def-Star

MyOwnWay - 1-9-2007 at 09:24 AM

This is a public appreciation for Steve and the Def-Star company.

I needed shirts. I needed shirts printed and I needed them fast. He worked with me far more than any company I got a quote from. His turn around time was incredible and overall quality and detail of the shirt was superior. Yes, superior. Even others at the show admired the detail of his work. Anyone going forward that needs shirts, stickers, etc. I strongly reccomend Steve at Def-Star. Even just call him for a quote.....

Steve you are a stand up guy. You helped me out more than you realize. You have my business.

Much respect.

Michael.

this is my job
it's how I feed my kids
that's why I do it, and to give something back to the people who made me who I am

If I didn't have them I'd put as much energy into my music...
dare to dream

new def-star store opening soon...
new web-site soon....
new 10 color press being deliverd today...
new grey hairs everyday
I need a nap

BDx13 - 1-9-2007 at 11:23 AM

congratulations on the press. i know a 10-color doesn't come cheap.

Jason the Magnificent - 1-9-2007 at 11:31 AM

Yes, two things matter most to me...

1. customer service to satisfy my retarded inquiries
2. M&O Knits because any other shirt brand is just silly.

He goes above and beyond satisfying both of these requirements...an no other band merch entity will ever see another $ from me.

Most places you cant even find out when your stuff has shipped after waiting a month...this maniac emails to make sure you got things AFTER you ALREADY have the tracking #'s

JUICE MAYNE MSHC - 1-9-2007 at 11:49 AM

Steve is the most top notch dude to ever print shirts anywhere on Earth. He has printed shirts for my band, both of my brother's bands, my brother's label, my own shit, my stepdad, etc. He's the reason why I sold my own printing shit because he could do it faster and better than I could myself. And we've done some other business as well, never anything but a pleasurable experience. I spread the word as much as possible. Steve, print some business cards so I can give them to regular citizens who are too stupid to remember the website name.

Voodoobillyman - 1-9-2007 at 12:08 PM

He does top notch work for my club as well and we wouldn't dream of going anywhere else

Nice! You got a great, supportive family, man. Nw, if I could only uncover my wife and daughters' ears, I am golden.

Thanks. My daughter has seen the light. She was into certain bands, now shes begging me to take her to another show! Good luck with converting your daughter!

defstarsteve - 1-10-2007 at 11:18 PM

my daughter is getting started now at 11
she like old metallica and pantera, and the ramones
so it's just a matter of time before I show here how things are

I put some random stuff on her i-pod and the new boris split was on there and she told me it was the most amazingly disturbing thing she had heard, and she wanted to hear more

MyOwnWay - 1-10-2007 at 11:21 PM

Nice! My daughter just turned 13. Some of her favorites are Ignite, My Turn To Win, H2O, Sick Of It All, Fahrenheit 451, Slumlords, and Champion. She became a fan of District 9 after the show Sunday. She's started stealng some of my CDs. Such an awesome problem to have

defstarsteve - 1-10-2007 at 11:25 PM

awesome
I'm sure mine will be there as well
we all share a 30 gig i-pod and all of the music we all own is on our i-tunes and then we got here a little 1 gig she can beat up and just change out the songs....
so i'll sneak more stuff in get her singing along
been teaching her guitar as of late as well
she is already doing some improv stuff just making up little things

kids rule

upyerbum - 1-11-2007 at 07:56 AM

My daughter is six and she's all about The Toy Dolls (and Shakira, but we won't talk about that).

Voodoobillyman - 1-12-2007 at 10:16 AM

I'm looking foward to this but I am in no rush for my little lady to get older either. Every moment is too precious with her. We took her to the aquarium yesterday and it was the first time where she could walk on her own, damn that was so much fun. She would just tear hell around the joint pointing and squeeling, so much fun. She LOVES fish, it was her second word after mommy, fssshhhhh. We decorated her room in an underwater scene and it has fish everywhere. We are going to get her a fish tank with some golds real soon.

Kids Rule Indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
