Film, TV star Yvonne De Carlo dies in L.A. at 84
Wed Jan 10, 2007 3:10pm ET
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actress Yvonne De Carlo, known to one generation as Moses' wife in C.B. De Mille's "The Ten Commandments" and to another as
the wife on television's hit show "The Munsters," has died at age 84, a source said on Wednesday.
De Carlo, who last appeared on screen in a 1995 television
production, died of natural causes at the Motion Picture & Television Fund's Retirement Home in the Los Angeles suburb of Woodland Hills, the source
said. A spokeswoman for the home had no comment.
Born Peggy Yvonne Middleton in Vancouver, British Columbia, she was best known for her television role on the popular 1960s CBS sitcom "The Munsters"
playing the ghoulish wife Lily Munster opposite Fred Gwynne as her Frankenstein monster-like husband Herman.defstarsteve - 1-10-2007 at 04:59 PM

This is horrible. I've loved the Munsters since I was a kid. That show was one of the things that lead me to being such an old school horror
enthusiast. Lily was my first childhood TV crush/fantasy. I've actually been working on drawing up a piece for my leg that will have Lily and
Frankenstein's bride as pin-up girls.
Steve, I still wear that shirt on a regular basis and still have the sticker too as no place has yet been deemed worthy of placement.defstarsteve - 1-10-2007 at 11:02 PM

That would be awesome. I know a few people who would LOVE to have some and I could
finally put some up if I knew I had a spare. I don't guess you have any hoodies you think I might wanna buy off of you now, do you? I need a new one
bad and then it would make more sense for you to send something out. Oh, I may have a job for you too.defstarsteve - 1-10-2007 at 11:19 PM
