Musical Confessions

MyOwnWay - 1-16-2007 at 09:03 AM

Come on now... We all have musical skeletons in our closet that we know we should be ashamed of but love anyway...

Myself...

I'm a huge AFI fan.

Love me some Smashing Pumpkins pre electronica
Alot of the mid to late nineties ballads, they just came out with a collection type CD they advertise on the television and I found myself reminiscing on good times based on the time period of the music so it means "something" to me and I am so ashamed..............

Voodoobillyman - 1-16-2007 at 12:15 PM

Oh yeah and Extreme, Nuno is my niggah!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hahahaha..... that surprised the hell out of me!

"Mutha I dont want to goto school today... I think I'd rather go outside and play"

"Saying I love you is not the words I want to hear from you
It's not that I want you Not to say, but if you only knew How easy it would be to show me how you feel More than words is all you have to do to make it real"

"If you dont like what you see here Nobody wants to take you prisoner So let me make it nice and clear dear The exit is right there I dont mean to be rude dude But youd better change your attitude. If you dont like what you see here Get the funk out We wont try to force feed you Get the funk out"

This thread is great!!

I agree with the Kelly Clarkson post. Not so much her first album, but this last one she did is such a good album.

Voodoobillyman - 1-16-2007 at 03:25 PM

Most 80's hairmetal ballads are the bulls tits!

moron - 1-16-2007 at 05:58 PM

When I was younger I was really into the Michael Bolton album that my parents had. I'd take it into my room and listen to it over and over. My parents would be calling me for dinner and I wouldnt go because the album hadnt finished. I still sing along to the songs I hear if they happen to come on the radio, but I dont own any of his albums. Only a 7" that was given to me as a joke.

JUICE MAYNE MSHC - 1-16-2007 at 06:33 PM

I went through my iPod looking for something to contribute this thread and I don't have anything close to the shit you guys have posted. But mine are Queensryche and 1 Skid Row album...2 bands that I thought were gay as fuckin shit when I was a kid but I like em now.

old school bryan adams - gay? kinda. rockin? uh huh

I'm the same way, I like what I like. I said Kelly Clarkson simply because I figured people might laugh at that one.

crazyfists28 - 1-17-2007 at 09:26 PM

i've liked it all at one point or another, right now im going through my dads records and really having fun. i get to play old old country on vinyl and they're all mint. learning about people i never knew of, charlie pride, faron young, webb pierce, hank snow. ive liked rap, metalcore, nu metal, ska, death metal, music is great no matter what. some imitate and suck but the true innovators make buying and listening to music great.....

necrobutcher - 1-17-2007 at 11:11 PM

No matter what they do, I love AFI. I also have a pretty big thing for a lot of goth music and 80's pop music.

joemaconmovies - 1-18-2007 at 12:57 AM

i used to like korn and the first limp bizkit album. oh silly youth.
